Yeah that kinda sucks that the marketplace did that to us. I think the addons would work well together but it's probably a bit silly to have two different types of camera systems. 🤔 Glad you enjoyed the video though!

do you plan on changing the turrets to only fire at hostile mobs and not the player aswell? I was going to get this add on to help me with a lot of things such as raids but after seeing what they did to someone with full netherite I think trying to make use of this add on would only make my life much harder.
An update went live yesterday with that exact change! You can now select between 2 attack modes on the turret! :)

A lot of people probably feel sad if they've gotten the bunker addon for security stuff, only to find out that a week later an actual security addon would come out. 🤣😭 Ty for the comment! Glad you liked the video.
We totally understand! But would love to let you know why an upgrade is worth it! First, the Camera System has INFINITE range to any Monitor (upgrade from the original). Second, newly added Keycards allow you to lock/unlock the Monitor for cameras, Lockable Doors, and Lockable Chests with fully customizable codes! Third, there are many additional decorative and functional furniture and doors to use in YOUR world! Finally, it’s an Add-On! So, you can use it on any of your worlds. 😊You could even use it with the Bunkers Add-On! If you're not interested now, maybe a future update will be more enticing. Thanks for buying the original!

I do love the magic add on. It has so many practical uses. I still have to test if the lighting one can give me a skeleton horse. It works with supercharging creepers so it should. Hypothetically. Lol

@@BedrockPrincess Thank you! This was a great showcase of our features. Only thing we'd note is once you have your lockables set with a code, you dont need to interact with them holding the keycard. It just needs to be somewhere in your inventory :)

i do like this add-on but the turrets that shoots arrows needs a rework
We think the update we released today is a huge step in the right direction for the turret! You're now able to toggle modes in order to not target yourself! Will take other ideas into consideration if you'd like to share.

How do you link the cameras? Every time I try I just see the words “ you have to link “ or it says camera monitor locked. Thank you!
There is an item called "Camera Link" that you need to interact with a Monitor then Interact with placed Cameras to link them.
If your monitor is locked, it means you had a coded keycard in your inventory when you placed it, or used a keycard to set a code afterwards. Have the keycard (with the right code) in your inventory and melee to lock/unlock!

hey been playing, trying to unlock a monitor so i can destroy it cause i placed it wrong but the keycard that i set the password with won't unlock it. is this a bug or am i doing something wrong? (am melee-ing)
What did you set your keycard code to? if you started with a 0 (ex: 012, 0342, or 00234) you need to renamed your keycard without leading 0's (ex: 12, 342, 234) It's a bug we're working to fix. Otherwise, yes as long as the code you set is on a keycard in your inventory melee'ing should unlock the Monitor. Once unlocked, you can melee twice with any tool or sword to destroy the Monitor!

@@mattachi5745 You will need to use an Anvil to rename the keycard to your code! (This will require 1 experience level the same way renaming any other item in Minecraft works. So kill a few mobs to make sure you have a level)
If you interact while holding our Security Help Guidebook there will be even more notes on how to use our Add-On! Melee/Interact to change pages. Make sure you don't move or jump while viewing or it will close.
Hey, I have a few questions before I buy it.
First, if someone else knows the code for the keycard, can they unlock stuff?
Second, if I wanted two people to have access, like me and a friend, would it work for both of us or just one of us?
If someone knows your code, and codes a keycard to it, yes it will unlock your stuff. This is exactly how'd you enable access to your friend if you wanted, by giving them a keycard with the correct code on it. Codes can be as short as 1 digit or as long as the keycard name allows. But be careful, the longer the code, the easier to forget it! Make sure to make copies of your keycard or write your code down!
@@4KSStudios I think that you should modify that when creating a code it does not appear in the chat, I make my card with a code and everyone in the world sees it in the chat.
@@angelsauceda2538 It should only be people within a certain range of the lockable object. But yes, this was brought to our attention and we are submitting an update so this no longer happens. This update will also clean up unnecessary chat messages and prevent chat spam for everyone. 😄
People are stuck in their monitors and even breaking it and kicking them does not fix it when they return. How do we fix this?? Cant even teleport them
First time hearing of this. Would love more details! How many players? anything happen before they got stuck? Players should be able to Sneak/Jump to exit the system. Leaving the game will not kick them from the system. It is highly recommended to NOT leave the game with them in the system, it can yield weird behavior.

The door must have a code set with a keycard to unlock. Rename a keycard in an anvil to a numeric code (ex: 12345). Hold the Keycard and melee the door to set the code (confirmation message will appear in chat). Melee again to unlock!

Ok I must ask, how do you get rid of the monitors and stuff, like if you place them somewhere you don’t want them?
As long as they are unlocked, melee them twice with a tool or sword! This is for a few reasons: 1. the locking mechanism requires the use of melee'ing 2. they wouldn't be secure if they can be destroyed while locked 3. It's annoying to accidentally destroy them so making sure tools are the only way and 2 consecutive melee's prevents any accidents!

I have the same issue! I put down a door, and it says it’s matched to my keycard passcode but when I try to unlock it, I get no valid keycard found. The only
Fix for me is removing the addon, breaking the invisible blocks where the door was, and adding the add on back. Pain in the butt though…

This was just fixed in today's update so make sure to download it! But it will not change your set code (just will not allow you set a code with leading 0's now)

Any idea how far button can be from turret & how to keep them on?
Should be 34 blocks or so. They will not stay on permanently. But by using wireless tripwires you can make a setup that can be activated by having mobs cross the tripwire's invisible beam!

It can be used in a Realms, all members can have their own cameras and computer, etc., I bought another add-on and it told me that there was only one computer in the world, I don't know very well. Is it possible in this one?
It does work in realms! Our Add-On does not limit how many monitors/security systems you can make! We also have a camera system that allows for UNLIMITED range of the cameras from the Monitor base.
Would be happy to answer any more questions. Our Add-On is the BEST Security Add-On on the Marketplace! We have also published 3 updates since this video's release with one more on the way featuring more bug fixes as well as some new features in each one. The next one adds texture pack support for secret doors and the lockable chest as well as a secret door overhaul. Our secret doors are now truly secret. You can't tell they're doors at all anymore :)

Im on a survivor world and I have a lockable door, But now it's bugged and i cant interact with it. does anyone know what to do?
Rejoining the world should fix this. If this is a realm let us know. If it doesn't fix it, can you let us know anything you did before it froze that might have led up it freezing? We were confident we had fixed this behavior in our latest update that's been out for a few weeks. With that being said, please make sure you have the latest version of the Add-On by viewing it in your library and making sure it doesn't have an "Update" button! Thanks!
@@4KSStudios I went on a long trip before coming home, That's when it was stuck. I tried leaving and rejoining and it didn't work, I then tried uninstalling the mod and reinstalling, That also didn't work. The only way I got it working again was when I went to a world back up and went back 30 minutes. And yeah we're in a realm and ran into a new problem, it's a similar one. my friend made a lockable chest and can't interact with it and it's stuck locked. I recommend maybe having an option on the key card that let's you automatically break items associated with the password on the card. And yes we're on the latest version of the add-on (Thank you for helping I appreciate devs who listen to the community)
@@joyconbulb3743 Our last 2 updates had fixes for the monitors freezing and the chest/doors freezing. Most of the problems we were getting reported stemmed from multiple interactions at the same time (ie 2 people trying to lock/unlock the same thing at once) or interacting too fast (spamming melee/interact for example). We had good results with the latest changes. However, there may be some gaps in realms performance specifically or multiplayer interactions we haven't considered.
One thing that may be an issue is if you downloaded an update for your realm, make sure all players on the realm clear out the old version of the add-on from their cached storage in the settings so they get the latest version when they play. We have seen instances of mismatched versioning which will absolutely lead to problems if that happens. It won't always prompt players to update when they join.
If you remember any more details about what happened before it froze up, or run into it again, please let us know. Any details at all would be very helpful for us to reproduce the issue and fix it further!
When I delete a door it leaves you with a invisible block you can't pass through and can't delete even with creative mode.
Excellent catch. Expect a fix soon! For now, placing any other custom door under the invisible block and destroying or using that door will remove the block!
Edit: destroying the lockable door, while unlocked and open will also fix this. So you can just replace the existing door, open it, and then destroy it!

Some people have mentioned leaving and rejoining can fix it. Although it's rather inconsistent. Our next update is fixing this. Releasing once it's approved soon! Sorry for this :(

We submitted a new patch today that when released should clear all the known bugs and add some extra notes that help players understand the content better! :D
How do you link the cameras and everything
There is an item called the "Camera Link" which you interact with desired monitor once, then interact with all the cameras you want to attach to it. This allows you to attach cameras to a monitor with no limits as to how far they are away from each other!

And there something wrong with it because the door can open and look without a key card
Make sure you're using a Lockable Door not a normal door. The Lockable Door literally will not work without a keycard!

You can't lock the door without a keycard. If you lost your keycard, simply renaming a new keycard to the same code will work!
If you forgot your code, you're going to have to wait for the next update when we add the Master Keycard to see codes of locked doors! (creative menu item)

As in this add-on? I don't know, you'd have to try. But /kill @e kills everything and everyone loaded in, if in survival.

How do you use the cameras
You link them to a Monitor using a Camera Link item and then Interact with the Monitor to view the ones attached to it. Once viewing, Melee/Punch to switch or Jump/Sneak to exit!

How to remove the code iron door
Only way to reset the code is to unlock the door, melee twice while holding a tool or pickaxe and placing it down again. NOTE: if you place it down with a keycard in your inventory, it will set the code automatically to that keycard. So make sure to place it with no keycards if you want to manually set it to another one!
