British Fireworks Championships 2023 Electrify 4K

Since 1997 the British Fireworks Championships have been a signature event in Plymouth attracting hundreds of thousands of people to support the local visitor economy as well as providing a popular entertainment event for local people.
Six professional fireworks companies compete over two days.
This was the first year that Electrify Pyrotechnics had competed in the Championships and in this video we see some of the set up as well as the display.
Unusually for this location there was a strong wind blowing from the East during the displays. Electrify was drawn to fire last of the six companies and because of the wind were located on the shore position on Mountbatten Wharf rather than next to the lighthouse which would have been the usual position for the last display had the wind been from the more normal westerly direction.

Shot with various cameras - there's quite a difference between the older ones and the 4K newer ones! The very wide angle is a DJI Osmo Action 4 in "enhanced nightime" mode.
