Very impressed with the build quality, thought it was worthy of a review.

Myself I just got the Laguna fusion f2 table saw this week, I ordered it back in March. So let the fun begin. 😀

You've done all measurement and testing for me, much appreciated, brilliant review! Considering one myself.

Although most of these “generic” table saws come from ROC, they are built to a price and so, are not all alike. Just because one looks like another, don’t assume that you won’t get an inferior saw for the cheaper price.
I have a 12” saw from Axminster trade range. It’s perhaps 10 years old now. Most things are adjustable which is good. A few gripes - the blade height adjustment is incredibly stiff; I’ve cleaned out the mechanism several times but it quickly gums again. Which brings me onto my biggest gripe - dust collection. To say it was poor would be kind. The amount of sawdust which collects under the table far exceeds any which is vacuumed up. The original overhead dust collection was a nod to dust collection and I replaced that with an Axminster overhead free standing set up. That releases the overhead collection from the riving knife but dust collection is poor (the 1hp vacuum with cyclone is about 6’ away from the saw and, when operating, the table saw is the only device on it. As I said, made to a price; if I could afford a Felder or Altendorf, I would get one like a shot but you get what you pay for.
Like you, I made a riving knife which is just slightly lower than the blade - trench cuts are therefore possible. In fact, I made several riving knives of different thicknesses to account for various thicknesses of blades. As you go, you accumulate more and more jigs for specific tasks- I now have a large cupboard just full of jigs.

Looks like a beautiful tool. Curious, does Australia require a riving knife? I don't see one in the video. Here in the States a riving knife is a required safety feature for all saws sold after 2009.

The riving knife is required in Aus. It comes attached to an overhead guard which I removed for filming. I have since made a second riving knife I can use without the guard. Thanks for watching.

Hi nice review I just received my 10 in cabinet saw the same as yours. But I am having trouble settling up the fence. I am living in the Philippines and the saw was sent to my shop here.
Could you give me instructions to set up fence???

Thanks, there are four plastic screws near the locking lever. Two are for squaring up the fence to the mitre slot and two are for squaring the fence vertically for the table top. I found that small adjustments work best. let us know how you go, good luck.

@@RJsShedShop Nice and congrats. Thanks for making this video, I'm about to do the same and this video is helping to decide. Is this the heavy duty model? How's it all still holding up? Is the fence still keeping smooth and square?
Im trying to avoid spending on a carbatec 😂

I am really enjoying using this saw. Yes its the heavy duty model. I think it is a great balance of price and quality. I have purchased a bit from the Sherwood range and I have been very happy. Was using it today, the fence and all was sweet as. Good luck in making a decision , it can be quite daunting.

Don't get me wrong its a ex saw I the the old model. as like you I did not know the difference when I bought it. The right hand tilt works well with the sliding attachment
