Congrats, I think you're first to post a solo GM with Final Warning. Kind of surprising given how strong it is, but as you say, you do have to play up close and that's sometimes a problem in GMs. FYI, I've found Weavewalk to be a decent defensive pick for threadling spam builds. It's not as good as constant devour or restoration, but it can save your ass in tight situations and it's pretty efficient at generating threadlings as well.
Weavewalk is great, I can see how it can make surviving the plates partv easier. To be honest all strand warlock aspects can fit right into this build. I think the only one that is a must is the Wanderer. Strand Warlock is a greatly balanced subclass
You get Final Warning by doing some post-campaign quests after Lightfall campaign is complete. There should be a quest from the pond or something. The machine gun is one of the Pale Heart weapons and you can get it after The Final Shape campaign
