Great video! One thing I would add, is to look at where the elephant is pointed. New players are going to have limited understanding of how events in India will play out, but there's a lot of bad choices you can avoid by checking where the next one will go down.

I'd also add (especially in the 1710 scenario): - Don't be shy in using the military option to open up orders; - Sometimes its better to hold off on a pension than getting VPs out early then losing them; you'll also have more money for a bigger house and more VPs ( and will have saved on the upkeep as well) Cheers
