Buddha’s teachings were atheistic, so he wouldn’t have implied that someone must to seek a higher power… he would’ve likely meant for people to find the truth in themselves and the world. So I feel this is counterintuitive to illustrate your point.

Of all the 500 monks here, Ananda, he who is the most backward is a sotapanna, not subject to fall back to a lower state of existence, but is certain and destined for enlightenment."

Then the Buddha lapsed into the jhana stages, or meditative absorptions. Going from level to level, one after the other, ever deeper and deeper. Then he came out of the meditative absorption for the last time and passed into nirvana, leaving nothing whatever behind that can cause rebirth again in this or any other world.
The passing away, or the final nirvana of the Buddha, occurred in 543 BC on a full-moon day in the month of May, known in the Indian calendar as Vesak.

I’m a Muslim and I want you to give me exact proof of when our prophet Isa (pbuh) even mentioned Buddha. He didn’t say anything about Buddha, follow buddhas ways, or even know about the noble truths. In fact, Jesus (pbuh) probably didn’t even know Buddha existed because they were so far apart. So basically what you said is your own guess. Just like buddha.

I love Jesus but find so much truth in the Buddhist practice? I am a god pleaser, but had such a tough time accepting “one way to Christ” when there are so many lovely, good and kind compassionate humans around this world that may not acknowledge Jesus. It hurts my heart…. I wonder if we are all that different? I pray my God will be merciful and see the goodness of people like Ghandi, and welcome Him into His kingdom. Lord teach my heart/.

Hey... You can be a Christian (or any religion) and still practice buddhism. This was advised by some Buddhist monks to us. Cause you know buddhism is not a religion it you can say is a practice like yoga(helps us to be healthy) hope you understand what I meant to say and sry for this type of English 😅
