My Father was a massive Brenda Lee fan, she came to England back in the 70’s where he saw her at a venue in Southend. Unknown to him my Mum arranged for dad to see her backstage!......he was speechless!......Later in her performance she dedicated a song to “The bashful Ron Peters”....That was all he spoke about for years! He passed away some 12 years ago now. Thank you Brenda for making my Dads dream come true, to this day a tear enters my eye every time I hear one of your songs. Love to all, Martin Peters xx
That is such a sweet story! That's my mom and it warms my heart to hear stories like this. Thanks for being a fan. So sorry for the loss of your father.
@jolie keene Brenda played Halifax, Nova Scotia many years ago. She came down into the audience and sat on my knee and sang Fool #1. My greatest thrill in my 81 yrs. on this Earth.
Brenda Lee has always been my all-time favorite. Not only do we share the same name but the same birthday. I am exactly one year older than she. You're still looking great girl
Brenda is the greatest and a wonderful friend and I will always be one of her greatest fans and supporters. With her God given talent that she has shared with the world, she is adorable and loved by so many but she is a very special person to me!! Love Ya Brenda!!!!
I saw and met Brenda Lee in Akron Ohio in a live show. I came over from Australia to see her. A dream come true for me. A great talent and a wonderful human being.
A little lady with a big big heart, sweet and adorable then and now! I wasn't around to hear the songs she released as a teen star, but she's definitely got a fan in me! God Bless Brenda Lee forever!
I was a Brenda Lee fan like so many. I met her a couple times. The first time was on my eighteenth birthday. Friends took me to the Rooster tale night club in Detroit. I was the same size and about the same age. I was disabled jand spent a lot of time singing along with my Brenda Lee records. I got a ugly brown second hand record player and wore out several needles. When I was in the hospital friends and family would send me gifts. For a long time I got mostly dolls. Finally to key my mom to tell them I was to old for dolls and I would rather have Brenda’s records. I packed up my dolls and stuffed animals and my dad took them to a children’s home. I met Brenda again at the nightclub a couple years later. It was Easter. And. She went up on stage with one daughter on each side. They were taller then she ! I went up to her at the table she was sitting with her back up group. This was the next time I saw her. I said I did not mean to intrude and one of the guys said “ then why did you”. Almost ran out of the place. I do not know who’s idea t was by later he asked me to dance! Of course. I didn’t dance well but we finished the dance. The next time we spoke over the phone. She was on a local morning show and I called during a Q to and A part of the show. I asked if she remembered Her telling me we should meet for a coke next time she was I town after the dance ? She said she remembered me but she was leaving town after the show. A year or more I was napping and the phone rang. My dad said it was for me. When I said hello I thought it was my friend who was. From the south. I started to gab when the voice broke in and said “you don’t know who this do you? It was Brenda! We gabbed for few minutes. She had come across my number I had given her all those years ago. I never figured she would ever call. She said she was home for a short rest and was going through some stuff and found my scrap of paper. How did you remember I asked? It is on a napkin form the Rooster tale and said n part thanks for dance. I think it started out as a note to I don’t recall his name I said but I am glad you got it. The last time I saw you was at the show boat in MI. My brother gave me the tickets for he and his wife to see you after so many years!, My sister in law pushed her way up to the man holding back the fans. Because of my condition and size she did not want me to get hurt. She explained and he got me up to mostly your back but we said hello. I am now seventy four and because of my seventy years with RA brokers and full life I am now about four six instead of four nine. I enjoyed the interview with you on you tube that one of my aids found. We were looking for a documentary made here F a fellow that is in the MI country music hall of fame. He is 92.. I subscribed. To your channel in hopes when this place gets o me I can go to ur channel and watch Brenda again. Thank you Jean Doherty Montrose MI I

Deserved every award she got,. God given talent and I don’t even like country music.
She did other styles of music, as well. But I know what you mean.
has she ever been asked about being sampled on Bound 2 ?
Wow Deborah Allen is still smoking hot.
What's wrong with her voice? She sounds really horse. Has she stripped her vocal chords?
