Well, she was a locomotive well beyond her service life, operating on grades she was not designed to handle, at relatively high speeds. It should also be noted that 4449 had the steeper grade, and 8444 had two diesel helpers, so the "race" wasn't exactly fair to begin with.
For a good while, I've been saying this race should be re-created in either Trainz or RailWorks, to see how it would end without the hot bearing. Ah, well. Great video all the same!!
I wanna see TVRM, or a documentary of all of the steam engines that participated in the Southern Railway steam program. But unfortunately, I have an iPad instead of a computer.
I have a idea for a (sorta) story/ past event. It's more of a music video using the song country roads going back through the life of a West Virginia steam engine and engineer. The title I've decided to make "old tracks back home" or "country tracks" it's supposed to show basically the history this engine and driver have shared all the way to present day where. The engine is old and rusty and the engineer is a grand parent. You can decide the final details like what version of country roads, what steam engine (as long as it was made by the West Virginia railroad) the gender of the engineer an grand child/ children, the ending song, time period for the past, etc. I'm only giving the concept. This in it's self is your to really forge and make the tracks that are "Old tracks back home" as I'm going to call it because it the one I prefer. You can choose your own title if you want. But I just want one exact detail to be permanent the engine is called ether O'l Smokes/ Smoky or Samuel Blue ridge.
I have my own Fictional Chicago to Los Angeles route in Trainz, MSTS/Open Rails, and Railworks. As well as some custom made locomotives and cars. But I really don't want them to be seen by the public.
I think the most important part is that the footage you send is smooth, without frame drops or freezing, I can't speak for them but a constant minimum above 20fps should be tolerable, but if you can help it at all, try to keep the FPS above 30. you can also help the FPS situation for recording static shots and making gentle camera movements that don't require a lot of rendering. On that note, if you only plan on recording from one angle at a time, you might be able to increase the FPS a tiny bit by turning off "render behind camera"... normally I'd leave this on because it can cause freezing and even crashing in regular gameplay, but if you're just shooting static scenes lineside, there's no need to render the trees behind the camera.
Wish I could make a video for you but the only computer I have is offline, but it has trs2006 and trainz classics. And the only other way I could make a video is by using the trainz driver 2 app, and I have a screen recorder on my phone
I’ve just realized that this race wasn’t exactly fair, hear me out on this. 4449 was on its own, 844 had two diesels helping it. It’s not exactly fair when you think about it.
Chance Ramsey this wasn’t a actual race it was a real life event where the up 8444 and sp 4449 “raced” home from los angles for the los angles union station 50th anniversary in 1989 i think. Pentrax dvd made a movie on this and that’s how I know about it
Union Pacific 4423 they will be since they have more characters at the end of the K&L special but they will have to introduce those diesels in the next few episodes before Craig, Frank, and Nathan return in The series.
Look listen here. If you don't like Facebook watching you all the time, then go and use Firefox and get Facebook container that pervents them from tracking you. Grow up and have some common sense in your life.
I had the mark 1 video production of this actual event and I loved it, also I remember this qoute by Jim Boyd "THE JACK WE FOUND THE JACK WE REALLY HONEST TO GOD FOUND THE JACK" lamo that was funny also here's the video ua-cam.com/video/TFv43VRsUnE/v-deo.html
I’m not a content creator but maybe there could be a story of the PRR T-1 and how it was originally going to be a 4-8-4 but the side rod weight was to heavy so it became a 4-4-4-4 and the problems it went through and how 5550 is one of the most famous steam train restoration in America and how the poppet valve gear worked Just an idea also I think it’s pronounced cay-jin pass not ca-hone pass but I actually don’t know your probably right but what ever
lets wait until 5550 is complete before any of those ideas come in to play we still need to wait and see if the 5550 ges finished and they can actually get all the problems fixed
Before anyone asks, SP 4449 had an overheated bearing.
So that's why she stopped. (5:35)
TheGlaceon Thomasfan what happened
FireFox 422 he just said 4449 had an overheated bearing!
Michael Bobb i meant the cause of the overheated bearing

I know what you should do
A recreation of the Freedom Train, before you ask, T&P 610 has been made in trainz by Colorado71 Trainz
Excellent as always! Keep it up!
I might have Facebook, I might make a trainz Race Video but I don’t have crajon pass (if it was in Mohave subdivision)
Yes
I wish to see the PRR 7002 and 1223 mainline excursions done in Seeing Trainz.
Cool Steam on Cajon Pass.
Best video!
I got another suggestion the doubleheader of NKP 765 & PM 1225 to the 1991 NRHS Convention.
The reason SP 4449 had to stop at 5:54 was because of an overheated bearing.
I wanna see TVRM, or a documentary of all of the steam engines that participated in the Southern Railway steam program. But unfortunately, I have an iPad instead of a computer.
N&W Productions 611 it would also be great if we had the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum constructed as a Trainz route that would be very cool
Agreed!!!!!!!
Nice job!

Remember the Western Pacific MTP-44 at 1:05? Well, do you know how to fix the coronas?
How did you change the smoke on NC&STL 576 and made it run just like an engine from Peter's Trainz shown in 0:52?
I have my own Fictional Chicago to Los Angeles route in Trainz, MSTS/Open Rails, and Railworks. As well as some custom made locomotives and cars. But I really don't want them to be seen by the public.
NKP 765 on Metra
Does it count if we have FPS that’s smooth on small deco routes? I can run smoothly when there’s small amounts of decoration easily...

The Arctic Gamer ok i dont have a pc screen recorder and my game freezes randomly so yea i wont get any uploads here... 😔
I can't find the coaches 4449 was hauling.
I've got a perfect route in the making for this, but it'll be 4 more years lol.
Yay sp 4449 is here!
Hey Sanjuantrainz where did the Southern Pacific Sp Daylight 'Yes Dear' tool car & SP Daylight Baggage Car Came From.
Do you now about FlyingScotsman??
Wish I could make a video for you but the only computer I have is offline, but it has trs2006 and trainz classics. And the only other way I could make a video is by using the trainz driver 2 app, and I have a screen recorder on my phone

Steve vs. Lexi from Tales from Harrison Rails
Cool
SP 4449 and UP 8444
All I need is all the information that is said in the video
I’ve just realized that this race wasn’t exactly fair, hear me out on this. 4449 was on its own, 844 had two diesels helping it. It’s not exactly fair when you think about it.

They weren’t actually racing they just called it that because they were side by side
Can you do a N&W j class 600 and 1218 do excursions on the horseshoe curve
Can I make a video with my Lionel model trains? I want to make videos for you but I still don 't want to spend my money on trainz.
Quick question my parents won't let me have Facebook how else can I contact you and I don't know how to do it through UA-cam
If I knew how to film Trainz videos I would have sended in some Penn Central things...
Cool Southern Pacific silver and red business car where can I find that just out of curiosity??
It's a reskin of the SP business car included with the K&L SP 745 release. Unfortunately, it can't be redistributed.
San Juan Branch Line Trainz Series got it thanks for letting me know
Where is that SP observation car from?
AwacsThunderhead90 It’s a reskin of the payware observation that came with K&L’s model of SP 745.
1:08 the station name is dagnabbit XD
Where can someone find the SP Business Car at 1:46?
I sent raw footage!
I’ll be make the route with
The same track
does it have to be trainz? There are other train simulators.
Are Frank, Craig, and Nathan going to come back to the series? I am not suggesting, I'm just curious.
Union Pacific 4423 they will be since they have more characters at the end of the K&L special but they will have to introduce those diesels in the next few episodes before Craig, Frank, and Nathan return in The series.
MrSonicthehedgehog31 Hope that's not too far into the future. Frank is my favorite character.
No I Cant Make This Trainz Race Video Because I Have No Facebook And facebook Is Watching Us
Look listen here. If you don't like Facebook watching you all the time, then go and use Firefox and get Facebook container that pervents them from tracking you. Grow up and have some common sense in your life.
You think Bill Vu will make a video for you guys? xD
TRAINMAN K He has. Look up “Steam O Rama” for his version of our video.
Haha of course he did. Hes probably never heard of the words "Original content" before.
