- Опубліковано 8 лют 2025
- The 2025 college football season is still a ways away, but J.D. PicKell already believes that the development of the quarterback position this offseason could be a major key in how next season will look. As young signal callers like DJ Lagway, LaNorris Sellers, Nico Iamaleava, Sam Leavitt, and others look to take a jump while quarterbacks Dante Moore, Arch Manning, Julian Sayin, and more attempt to make an impact in their first full seasons under center.

As a Sooner born, Sooner bred OU fan for 42 years (i'm 41, you do the math), I'm done being excited and confident about any new player or coach until the next time we're undefeated in week 11.
michigan fan here, cant wait for the first week in september! gonna be great
@lukegreen6213 It will be a great game, I'm sure! Both of us have some things to prove to ourselves and the country.
Absolutely, both these teams put it together on offense they will more than likely be play-off teams or damn near. Love the mich osu okla texas match ups next 2 or 3 years
@SethBacon09 2 years in a row too! I love big games to start out the year.
Michigan vs OU to open?!? I didn’t even know that. Some great sec vs b1g games from jump. Can’t wait.
Nebraska needs to come back a true blue blood 🩸
Gonna be a hard sell, the NIL may help them but that state doesn't produce much football talent and the surrounding states don't either.
I think Nebraska has seen their best days. Maybe if they go back to the B12
Really? I’m looking at the #5 transfer class, #1 in the Big10. Added two of the best coordinators in the game. Doesn’t seem to be a “hard sell”.
@@dankcoyote stop looking thru Cornhusker glasses, why would you go to a place that has harsh winters, a boring landscape (so flat you can see the next zip code) & what do you do in the offseason I mean I’ve seen lots of videos of people talking about once your out of the city not much to do (Nebraska isn’t exactly an exciting place to live).
Look on the bright side at least your in the weakest part of the conference.
@@utcnc7mmWhat do you mean weakest part of the conference? Divisions are gone bud. And again, Nebraska has had multiple top 25 classes the last several years despite the records being atrocious. Just got the 5th ranked portal class as well. You're not wrong Nebraska isn't as exciting as other places, but to say they can't sell it is just wrong. It's been proven that they can sell it to recruits and coaches.
Jesus loves you have a good day ❤😁
This I knoooow
For the Bible tells me soooo
Jesus still owes me money from last weekends poker game. Tell Raul to get me my money.
truth!
2 King 2:23-24
God loves making bears maul 42 children after just some of them called a guy bald
Nebraska and Rhule have to start finishing games and developing. Raiola needs to keep getting better, quit overthinking and hit the throws. With Holgorsen it will definitely help, Satterfield was not a good QB coach or OC. But also need the OL and WR's step up and help Raiola.
If they don’t do it this year I don’t know.
They overcame a lot of players leaving. Portal was good for them. Then the recruiting class is also top 25. With the experience, QB development, coaching, they should be there.
The schedule is favorable. Michigan at home. USC at home. No Oregon. No IU. No Ohio State. Penn State on the road the really hard one.
I feel like if they don’t get to like 9-3 this year that it’s gonna head for new coach and new rebuild.
@@jbaker7439I'd be careful with that line of thought. The B1G isn't a bad conference so there's a likely chance they drop a game they shouldn't necessarily. I think 8 wins is likely the expectation, with the ceiling being 10 wins (or 11 if you want disappointment).
OU won 6 games with basically no offense. Having just an average offense could have won us two more games (Missouri and Ole Miss). The defense was ranked #19 nationally…and those numbers could have been even better had the offense not put them in such bad positions and had been able to stay on the field longer. I know I’m biased, but if Mateer and Ben Arbuckle are as advertised then I like our chances in a lot of games! B⭕️⭕️MER! ☝🏼
Absolutely
Florida figured it out late last year. I’m excited to see them this year.
How bout you educate me on the gators? They must return a hell of a lot of starters because they worst in SEC in portal rankings and #8 in SEC in recruiting.
@ My 6 yr old loves them, so I ended watching them last year a lot. They played hard their last few games. I hope they do better this year, but if they don’t dc. They’re not my team lol.
@FredPitre-o4b
They did return a lot of the team and they’re a young team. So potential is high. They did play well at the end of the year.
Also they have a QB who could be Heisman.
And then they are #10 class overall. Recruiting + Transfer 2025.
Also top 10 in the country in recruiting. Educate me. Teams who overhaul through the portal do poorly.@@FredPitre-o4b
UF gonna take a step back this year, good news is that Sunbelt likely won't keep his job
The pro Nebraska propaganda can't hurt though. Keep it coming!
Here are the 12 for 2025.
1. Penn st
2. Ohio st
3. Oregon
4. Illinois
5. Georgia
6. Tennessee
7. Texas
8. S Carolina
9. Clemson
10. ND
11. UNLV
12. ASU
In the window looking in
1. Michigan
2. Oklahoma
3. Nebraska
4. Miami
😂
Ya if we lived in an alt reality sure
1/10 rage bait
Illinois is ready to pop but they won’t fair any better than IU in the end.
ND will be higher than that. They’re returning bunches and have a good recruiting class.
@chuckkearney9246
Aside from Illinois and ND being that low. What’s wrong with that list?
Penn State I’ve been thinking about. They are the team Michigan and Ohio State just were. They will be the most senior led and experienced team. Everyone is coming back to try to win it.
People are high on Texas but I don’t care how good they recruit. They under perform always. It’s in the water. Their alumni. Their boosters. It’s their culture.
Vols are strong yall. dont sleep on UT!!!
The SEC is wide open there isnt 1 dominant team
You could argue that Georgia will be good next year
I just wish Texas had a somewhat decent schedule
@reececampbell6269 the SEC has a handful of good teams but no elite ones
@ That's fair
Is there any conference that isn’t wide open?
OU offense is the key.
Which is strange to say.
I think Mateer is an absolute bad azz though, that's an extra 3 wins right there...
It says NOT at the top 😅
Will Howard elevated their roster?? I think its the other way around
No Sc?😂
🤣
this is about the big dogs
Based off facts and stats, I think Garrett Nussmeier will lead all of college football for QB.
He probably should be.
Sellers hands down
It was smart for him to come back instead of being a 6th rounder draft pick
He should but probably not!
He should. But he’s got to prove he can handle the pressure.
