NATURE MORTE. Kasematten, Dresden (2009)

DEREVO in co-operation with The Arches (Scotland), Conflux (Scotland)
For a long time DEREVO has amazed audiences by mastering quite different dance styles starting from Japanese Butoh to the cold modern dance, by mixing clownery and Commedia dell'Arte with folk dance and live music and vocals on stage.
All that has been done by just five members of the group and has resulted from their huge amount of daily work.
And now DEREVO decides to present the maximum possible number of arts and styles united in one project Nature Morte in Glasgow and Dresden just to prove that nothing can be too eclectic as long as it's of the highest quality.
So the public can see for example some Butoh dance along with the sounds produced from an old metal sink or maybe some clownery accompanied by the sounds of the shooting from Prague 68' and so on.
Though we don't want to shock the audience, we'd rather tell them that there's everything in their own souls and memories already. People are free to decide by themselves which particular note from this crazy action will touch their hearts and will last forever...
