They did such a good job matching the colors and lighting to the original movie and I love how the entire ride transitions from day to night

I was extremely hesitant due to the number of screens here but I'm beyond impressed. The integration of the screens with the physical set pieces are seamless! It looks so good on video, which is something screen rides typically don't do... and the ride vehicle movements! It exudes charm! I'm beyond excited to experience it myself one day.
Its a must ride experience. The video doesn't do it justice. I had the opportunity to ride it. I will be posting full ride and queue on opening day.
I think it helps that newer display technology is being used so everything looks more bright and sharp

I was hoping to see some animatronics just like Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. Both rides look similar

I don’t understand why people said this ride is uncanny. The animation is similar enough to the 2D animation. They’re just physical animatronic but put in animation. Also, they stay true to the original style as possible. They didn’t make them wreck-in-ralph princess style.
Agreed! I'd prefer some animatronics myself, but the transition from the 2D style to CG is pretty seamless. Very difficult to pull off!
Think of this ride like the transformer ride at universal studio but with more interaction and japans magic. They definitely do animation and experience the best.

ちょっと映像の動きが早いですけど😵💫、その分 盛りだくさんだったと思います。

一応過去には対象年齢の違い（身長制限面）で両立するという発言はあったみたいですが、
内容の重複があるアトラクションに同一企業が出資しつづけるか？を考えてしまうと
将来像はなんとなく想像できてしまいますね
個人的には帆で視界が制限されるあの乗り心地は代替しがたい印象がありますが……

確かにただでさえ敷地に限界がある舞浜で内容がほぼ同じのアトラクションが2つある…と考えると寿命は短いと思わざるを得ませんね
私もあれはあれでピーターパンライドの完成形だと思うのでなんとか残してほしいです

THIS is how screen based dark rides should be done. I love those practical sets and while I’m not wild about the animation itself, the animation blends in so perfectly with the sets.

I’m sorry but if they did this at WDW and not Tokyo people would be irate, I feel like Tokyo gets a lot of passes…
It’s basically what Spider-Man and Transformers at Universal is.
Dark Ride like sets with practical effects, while the major show scenes are the screens, and your vehicle moves in sync with the screens.

While I will say that it’s a bit sad to see it’s so screen-based, this actually does look like a really pleasant ride and I think the animation style and quality is great. It seems to really still have the spirit of the og Peter Pan film and that makes me really happy! How fun : )
I'm not sure but I think Japan（Tokyo Disney resort） dose not has enough land. That's why there are more screen-based of attraction than Disney resort of America . Plus, Disney Headquarters dose not run Tokyo Disney resort, Oriental Land does. I thnk that's one of the reasons.

Personally、I am dissatisfied with the decrease in attractions that have descents and shaking！
As you may already know, this attraction is a 4D ride with 3D glasses and winds.Many people like this attraction, so please come and ride it ✨.

The screen integration is the best I've ever seen. WOW!
勘違いしている人がいますが、これは3Dライドで風も来ます。4アトラクションの中でも一番良かったと答える人が多いし、実際乗ると想像よりもずっと面白いし感動します。
ちなみに自分は乗車後ゲロゲロに酔って一時間動けませんでした。
浮遊感結構あります？？ハリポタの空飛んでる感じが大好きなので、これも実際に空飛んでる感じが強いと嬉しいのですが、、、。

スターツアーズのような感覚ですか？ピーターパン大好きなのですごく楽しみなのですが酔いやすいのが心配で😢😢

スターツアーズ乗れないけどピーターパンは乗れた！って人もいればスターツアーズ乗れるけどピーターパンダメだ〜って人もいるのでなんとも言えないです...(自分はスタツア× ピーターパン△)
ただ、対策として車の動きの軸に1番近い2列目真ん中(1番揺れにくい所)に座れればかなり酔いは軽減されます！
あくまで参考程度に...

やはりユニバのスパイダーマンは偉大だった。
ディズニー派でユニバも一回しか行ったことないけど「わかる。」スパイダーマンはマジで技術とか演出に感動した🥹でも、なぜ無くした？？？？それだけが疑問
これはどっちかと言うとひとつの場面にギミック詰め込みまくったスパイダーマンよりも、大型画面主体で移動シーンに力を入れたトランスフォーマーに近い気がする

自分もこのタイプだったらテンポの良いスパイダーマン形式の方が好きだったんで、移動シーン重視で若干ダレるトランスフォーマー形式寄りになっちゃったのはちと残念なんですけど、思ってたより物理セットが多かったのは嬉しいですね。
何よりスパイダーマンや東京パニッククルーズが無くなった今、日本でまたこのタイプのアトラクションに乗れるのが純粋に嬉しいです。

I love how well this was handled. I think this did the whole screen based stuff much better.
I see this being up there with Spiderman (Universal) and Knott's Bear-y Tales: Return To The Fair when it comes to blending the physical sets well with the animation.
I know people don’t like screen based rides but I think this looks amazing! Perfectly captures the essence of the movie, animation is beautiful and blends in nicely too, and it’s fairly long for what it is, which is good! The Walt Disney World version has its charm but it’s a 90 minute wait for a creaky, static ride where you can see the backstage areas everywhere, and the ride is maybe a minute long at best. If they had the space for it, something like this version of the ride blended with that would be perfect
I didn't start this video anticipating to be impressed but the color design is lovely, the animation adapts the original film very well, and the physical items incorporate the screens nicely. Nobody 'prefers screens' but the sensation of flying is present here.

Maybe one day they'll extend Fantasy Springs with more immersive rides based on "Alice in Wonderland", "Hercules " and "Snow White"

Okay, have you all noticed how the animations interacted with the physical props?! That’s Amazing! You couldn’t get that level of motion with animatronics, the way the lost boys move and bounce and interact with the barrels and boats is amazing!
Yeah, this has got to be my favorite dark ride in an amusement park, alongside Knott's Bear-y Tales: Return to the Fair at Knott's Berry Farm.

Okay, some people said they don’t like the screens but the ride wouldn’t be able to accomplish the effect it’s trying to achieve without them. Also, the effect is probably a lot better with the 3D glasses and decently wind blowing in your face! This is an amazing ride and another reason to visit Tokyo Disney!

They could still have st least some animatronics and not have it be entirely screens though. Screens just aren’t impressive anymore.

ピーターパン空の旅は上からの景色しか見えず、フィルハーマジックは3Dだけど椅子が固定でロンドンの映像しかない。
このアトラクションはピーターパンとその仲間たちと同じ目線でネバーランドとロンドンのシーンがあるから他2つとはまた違う楽しみ方が出来るね

Why are people complaining about the screens? Flight of Passage is all screens and it’s one of the best rides at WDW. The Peter Pan ride is very similar to that but I like that there’s an actual story and props.
Because it’s just being way way WAY overused. They are not a good substitute for animatronics.

While I’m thankful you’ve uploaded this, the unnecessary edits in this video took me completely out of it. We want to enjoy the pace and the immersion. What did you cut out?
Looks fabulous but I'm curious about the ride system and if there are any animatronic figures. I did not want to watch too closely and spoil things for when we eventually see it in person so perhaps I missed something.

Why do I get the feeling that the classic Peter Pan's Flight at Tokyo Disneyland will not be around much longer? This is pretty much the same thing, except without the flying ships. And more screens.
I don’t want to watch a tv while at a theme park. Bummed they went this direction with the ride as the rest of the land looks pretty great.
Having Genie's Lamp fall out of the treasure chest the Lost Boys where lifting near the end is a really fun easter egg. Because 'Aladdin' was released so much later than 'Peter Pan' my brain doesn't assosiate seeing Renaissance era references in Golden Age era related media.
I think it was actually an easter egg for the Arabian Coast area of the same park, which has a bit of an Aladdin theme.
It’s only screens, but at least it’s super well themed screens. :-)

This is basically Peter Pan’s Flight.
It’s the very first version that had the ride system from transformers, I wanna see one themed to Mickey and friends racing together in ToonTown, and crashing
Universal would have been absolutely destroyed for building this, due to its reliance on screens.

people complaining about screens need to chill. like rapunzel and frozen are both boat rides with a bunch of gorgeous animatronics. plus there's already a peter pan ride with animatronics in tokyo disneyland. it's actually refreshing they did something else for this ride! looks so good

They're going to use this tech for the upcoming Avengers ride...
After seeing this ride I’m completely on board with them using this ride system.
This ride works for Peter Pan and Tokyo DisneySea because of their lack of screen rides. DCA and Marvel, however, have too many screen-based experiences. I hope the Avengers ride will have animatronics and more physical effects.
