I guess the platter was a do-over for when he invited Trina for dinner and she found Esme there. Glad Esme realized it wasn't for her and Spencer , and she excused herself quickly. He needs to do this every time him and Trina have a date , but as much as she's loving all the gestures I think she would love it if he went more simple too ( like a picnic or something). Sometime you don't always have to go over the top on everything less is more.
