- The House Saturday approved a bipartisan package of four bills that would provide a combined $94 billion in foreign military aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan. House Speaker Mike Johnson helped shepherd the package through despite threats from some members of his caucus that they may move to oust him after passage. Natalie Brand reports from Capitol Hill.

We have so many problems here in the USA, but our stupid dinosaur politicians prefer to send billions for war.
With all that money we could fix every single problem in the US and still have enough millions to help other countries that really need help like Haiti, Africa, and some Latin America countries.
This is the most stupid and selfish thing this government has done.
This has no benefits whatsoever on US citizens, this benefits only the super rich and corrupt politicians.

Why don’t you research domestic spending vs foreign aid then? Because 62% of the federal budget goes strictly to entitlement spending, 2% gdp goes to defense spending.

That is a tiny amount compared to being on a "wartime economy," which we might very well be if we don't help. For reference, we Americans spend 20% of our GDP on medical.

It's military aid, not financial aid. US warehouses are already *stacked* with weapons. Older equiptment will be sent to make room for new one. Doesn't affect taxes, the budget, or anything of the sort. (I'm not even sure if those countries won't have to eventually repay this, tbh)
