The idea of it being good for streaming demos is great but is somewhat problematic the more I thought about it... Here are a few points: - Demos are usually small anyway so installs not a big deal - The demo wouldn't represent performance on your machine accurately - The input lag may be noticeable by some and impact their perception
You also have to take in to consideration that rendering a game in real time is way more expensive than running a prerecorded video. Decoding low latency video is also very computationally expensive for the user. The only companies with money and light enough games to stream it would be mobile phone games. But that could steal downloads from users that tried and didn't like the app.
The real problem with the entire system is just that you have to buy your games again through Stadia to use it, especially when there's no real guarantee that it'll still be around in 10 years. They should have let you use games purchased from wherever, let you download games you buy through Stadia to do with as you please, and offered discounts/bonus content for games purchased through them as an incentive along with offering the occasional free game a la Epic Store and the like to get people into the ecosystem. Instead they used a business model that made zero sense after even the smallest bit of scrutiny.

For example: a gun skin nft from valorant COULD theoretically be allowed to be used in Apex... But, no company will ever allow it, because they didn't work 3+/4+ years on a game (and ofc fill it full of micrtotransactions) only for the players to use some OTHER skin they got from some other game on their app. It cuts into their profits and will they will need more time to add the cosmetics into the game There's more, but most of them would need game companies to think first about consumers and not about profits.. so realistically there's no benefit as of now

Sure, but the issue is, people like me and a ton of others will never get to play it because it forces you to have two players. Make a great game all you want, but if a big chunk of players can't play it, there's a problem.

I bought It Takes Two to have a game to play with my girlfriend. It was some of the most fun we've had as a couple for sure. Great game even if the daughter can be a bit annoying.

Playing Dying light 2 on PS5. Only issue so far is zombies inside rooms not appearing until I walk in, but their outlines can be seen when selecting that highlighting view.
I don't think it's about the ACTUAL NFT technology. I think it's about the fact that NFTS now are just known as hyped jpegs and we know game studios are opportunistic vultures...so we know how this story plays out. Plus, the way they are going about promoting NFTS screams red flags. I don't want this current push for NFTS because it seems like a corporate cash grab that doesn't improve my games. The versatility and abilities of NFTS are immense and will keep expanding. NFT tech will be apart of our worldwide future, but for gaming now it only works with the play-to-earn model (i.e. Axie infinity, gods unchained). This smart contract tech will keep being used in art, music, finance, real estate, social events etc.

For thouse who only watch this show, the It takes two situation was that Hazelight Studios was trying apply for a trademark on the name 'It takes two'. Take Two disputed this ridiculous trademark (i will explain why in a sec) on the grounds it could create confusion. Let me make this absolutely clear. Take two had every right to do this as it was for a trademark NOT a copyright issue. This DOESN'T mean that Hazelight Studios has to change the name of thier game because GAMES NAMES ARE NOT TYPICALLY TRADEMARKED. This is because usually trademarks are for the name of companies, for inovations or A series in its totality. ie Hazelight Studios and Take-Two; or Tesla Model or PS5 Interactive. For example, J. K. Rowling's Trademark for Harry Potter Series wasn't authorized till 2011 because it was a title and even as a trademark its in reference to the Harry Potter Series not any specific book. The reason that AJ brings it up is that when the news dropped, news agencies miss reported the issue as though it was a copyright issue not a trademark issue. There are more stringent rules when it comes to overlap when it comes to Trademarks in thier respective industries. And Take two was rightfully seen negatively in the public light at the time. But the AJS is wrong on this specific issue and i would like to see AJ reevaluate this topic for the sake of his audience and thier integrity. Copyright and Trademark issues are difficult for many to understand and the only reason i understand any of it is due to reading up on the topic and watching Copyright attorney YT channels. For those who want to know more about this topic, Leonard French of the Lawful Masses YT channel explains the ins and outs of this specific issue and was how i learned how badly this story has been twisted to attack Take Two, at a time it was easy to attack them for their anti consumer behaviour and how they were treating the Mod community as a whole.

i like how everyone is like "everyone knew GTA6 was coming", i was at the point where i legitimately doubted that rockstar would ever stop milking GTA5
they announced GTA6 now because it's an Overwatch 2 gambit after abandoning RDR2, abusing employees for years, refusing to fix GTA online while adding more ways to give them money instead, and everything with GTA trilogy. Which... based on how many people are slurping up the OW2 beta is a tactic that evidently works.

Please do your research when it comes to the It Takes Two Trademark issue. For thouse who only watch this show, the It takes two situation was that Hazelight Studios was trying apply for a trademark on the name 'It takes two'. Take Two disputed this ridiculous trademark (i will explain why in a sec) on the grounds it could create confusion. Let me make this absolutely clear. Take two had every right to do this as it was for a trademark NOT a copyright issue. This DOESN'T mean that Hazelight Studios has to change the name of thier game because GAMES NAMES ARE NOT TYPICALLY TRADEMARKED. This is because usually trademarks are for the name of companies, for inovations or A series in its totality. ie Hazelight Studios and Take-Two; or Tesla Model or PS5 Interactive.
For example, J. K. Rowling's Trademark for Harry Potter Series wasn't authorized till 2011 because it was a title and even as a trademark its in reference to the Harry Potter Series not any specific book.
The reason that AJ brings it up is that when the news dropped, news agencies miss reported the issue as though it was a copyright issue not a trademark issue. There are more stringent rules when it comes to overlap when it comes to Trademarks in thier respective industries. And Take two was rightfully seen negatively in the public light at the time. But the AJS is wrong on this specific issue and i would like to see AJ reevaluate this topic for the sake of his audience and thier integrity. Copyright and Trademark issues are difficult for many to understand and the only reason i understand any of it is due to reading up on the topic and watching Copyright attorney YT channels. For those who want to know more about this topic, Leonard French of the Lawful Masses YT channel explains the ins and outs of this specific issue and was how i learned how badly this story has been twisted to attack Take Two, at a time it was easy to attack them for their anti consumer behaviour and how they were treating the Mod community as a whole.
