The farther you go north, the more trees look like bonzais. In "permafrost" trees doesn't really grow. Its the perfect place for moss and mosquitoes.

The earth has been warm and frozen in cycles at different times. Currently we, all of mankind, have seen the warming over the last 20 - 25 thousand years and are in total freefall panic mode, blaming ourselves and various technologies for heating the earth. However, we are not the drivers of this warming cycle. As a matter of fact human contributions account for less than 5% of the total warming over the last 10K years. The main factor is the sol cycle that has the earth in a closer orbit to the sun as measured over the last 50 - 100K yrs. The ice cores show this, the rock record shows this, but we know better? I'll just ask the volcanoes to stop erupting and then their 40% contribution will be eliminated and we will all freeze on a snowball earth ... AGAIN! yea, yea, the sky is falling, again.
