Excellent video, it's fascinating to here it all from the gallery though, with the countdowns etc! I always preferred ''Motormouth'' to ''Going Live'' & it's a shame that ''CBBC'' shows always seem to be fondly remembered, whereas not many ''CITV'' shows are! This was the 1st time the 2nd set of 1990 Stonewall ''CITV'' idents was shown btw!
Not enough people have ever shared my enthusiasm for Motormouth. Popular nostalgia completly ignores that it ever existed, which is a real discredit. Oh, and if anyone reading this has got an edition of MouseTrap lurking around, you'd become one of my all-time heros if you posted it to UA-cam!
I can remember when I was on Motormouth. Ah, memories. It was the 4th show in series 3. I had a pink ballon round my head. If anyone has that show, get in touch. I'd love to see or get my hands on it.
Its first couple of series were ropey, primarily because it found it hard to move beyond the shadow of No. 73 however S3 and S4 were brilliant, and it was far better that Going Live particularly in S4. I always felt GL was made by the numbers while MM felt like the people on the show really did give a damn whether you thought it was good. Better guests, more diverse music etc.
97channel, your right mate. Most remembered nostalgia is from surviving companies who profit from the remembrance, or american import dross. Uk nostalgia is not remembered well at all.And our attempts to remember are often tainte from the import trash. Computer/games have the same problem, so do magazines and comics. Who remembers commando comic, or has even heard of it in the young generation ? . anyway.

Wow! Never knew how busy a gallery of a TV studio was so hectic!
Good old TVS. It went out from the TVS studio in maidstone!
Crumbs!! I was the Senior Cameraman on this show! (See end credits)
And very good you were too !
Who's watching in 2020❓

I really wish there were full episodes of this show out there. It's pretty much all in the ether now though.

You are right!
William Orbit in a baseball cap?
Also, this is only 22 YEARS OLD!!! Wow!
This sounds like the legendary Hamish Hamilton. Is it? Andy Crane is the name of the presenter in the cap...
Does anyone have the original 1988 titles to Motormouth?
O'Hara Ramp
I always preferred motormouth and ITV in general than the BBC. As I remember it always had better cartoons.
