It did not end well (he bit me in the face just under my left eye). It didn't deter me. After long hours of working with him he is now my night time TV buddy. He'll climb up my shoulder and usually falls asleep there. But he still has tendencies to get aggressive. He'll gap at me and charge if he's free roaming the house and he thinks I'm picking him up to put back in his enclosure. But through that all I wouldn't change a thing. I like to think those other 17 people passed on him because he was meant to be with me. Now if he'd just stop pooping on my rug

I got my baby beardie a few hours ago. I named him/her after my favorite pizza place Guido. He ate 2 mealworms for me a couple hours after I got him. He’s the sweetest animal I’ve ever met and is my first reptile. I was gonna get a snake but they didn’t have any at the pet store so I just got a cute beardie instead. I gave him a 40 gallon and he only used like 10 gallons. About to have my first night with the beardie. He only uses the 10 gallons so I had to move the water dish… He loves being held and is in good Heath! Also obsessed with the basking spot!😆 won’t leave… ever…

Definitely great to mention the eye bulging. That freaks out a lot of new beardie owners. I'm glad I read something about that before getting mine lol. It's worth mentioning, they usually do this with closed eyes when shedding for relatively brief amounts of time. If their eyes bulge when open or for an extended amount of time, it could be a sign of high blood pressure.
@@haydenmccaffrey3091 I love my guy but he is a lot of work. You have to have the correct lights and temperature. To me it is very stressful. I am always worrying if I am doing it correctly so I don't hurt my sweetheart. Would I do it again Yes in a heartbeat.
Scientific studies are also a great source of information on behaviours/body language if you’re more interested in the nitty gritty stuff of your bearded dragon. There are tons of studies about stress, comfort, how they act in the wild etc! But like Elle says a lot of it is just getting to know your bearded dragon! Just remember to respect their boundaries as they are solitary animals. A big red flag is any new behaviour or them acting differently than usual, especially if it’s for a long time so keep an eye on that 😊
I suspect that my beardie follows me around his tank. My bed is on one side and computer on the other and without fail he always seems to be just behind my head, watching...waiting. While he doesnt glass surf to get my attention I have noticed he flexes his beard once or twice and then dramatically flops down into a very sulky pancake until I come over. He tends to do this a lot close to his thermostat turning to night mode, since he falls asleep in my lap each night.
@@ellesreptiles I got him Saturday and me and My Wife went out for the day.I explained to him that it is one week.I picked him up at 2 am Sunday Morning and called out of work today to play with him.I can't put him down.I got the coolest picture of him after eating a meal worm.He looks ferocious but it is so cute.He licks my face. We just got a new bearded dragon just over this past weekend, and I'm trying to learn as much as I can about this precious little guy. Thank you so very much for the video! ❤👍
Just got our beardy 2 days ago. He's about 6 to 8 weeks. Been doing research all over the internet for months including this channel. I love your information and zazz. She's beautiful. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and her with us.
My Beardie gives me the cold shoulder… Small back story first: We rescued an 18 month old beardie, who we found out a few weeks later, from abnormal behaviors becoming more obvious that she had a calcium deficiency. At first she was pretty lethargic and pitiful. Her legs were swollen, etc. After a trip to the vet that included blood work and shots, we were sent home with liquid calcium and a medicine dropper. Sisu did not appreciate the tiny rubber spatula being wedged in between her lips, much less, the liquid squirt in her mouth BUT after about 4 days of this, she began to feel better and finally decided to show her personality!! Still irritated about the meds, after giving them to her she would turn her back to me and look straight ahead as if she was giving me the cold shoulder for as long as I was talking to her. As soon as I stopped talking and pretended I was gone, she would slowly turn her head as if she was checking to see if I was still there! When I started talking again she would again turn her head forward to look away like,” I’m still mad at you.” She is soooo sweet and has a HUGE personality. She runs to us now when we walk toward her enclosure and when the door opens, she is ready to be picked and a couple of times has jumped toward hands/arms and go snuggle up on a shoulder. I am grateful for the ability to have rescued this sweet girl and also for Elle, as she has been a lifesaver in sharing her beardie knowlege!
Love your videos. I have learned a lot from you. Yesterday I went out and bought some Kale and Collard Greens. Although he is a baby Drogo loves the Kale. Oh I also got a good size storage container for crickets. 3 times the size of the Large cricket keeper that Petco sells and a 1/4 of the price. So glad I found your channel.
My bearded dragon, Gavin, will sit on my chest/shoulder area. He then decides he is going to nap and does this really adorable "scrunch-wiggle." Love it 💓
Oh!!! We brought home our first reptile last night, a juvenile male bearded dragon!!! I did months of research and found him as a rehoming situation from a young college guy who realized he didn’t like insect feeding… Thank you so much for your videos that have helped pave the way for us to be ready for him! 💚🦎🐸🐍🐢
We just rescued our beardie, he was dumped in a parking lot so we took him in. Toothless is wild AF. He got so excited the other day the dipshit fell out of his little tree on to his head to get to the cockroaches. My gf thinks I spoil him because I burrito him and i'll play ps5 for hours with him wrapped up and sleeping on my chest. I was glad when you mentioned that when they're mega relaxed they get pale because I was worried he was too cold. He has been awesome and I'm so glad we found him.
6:47 my bearded dragon hates baths and does this whenever he sees the faucet on or whenever he sees the red bowl we wash him in or the sink. i want to get him more comfortable with baths, we put this cleaner in the water to take any chlorine thats maybe in there, we also have a rock (store bought and cleaned) for him to sit on but he hates it. I also put my hand for him to lay on sometimes but yet he wants to get out.
My beardie, Manolo Emilio, LOVES sleeping. He falls asleep around the same time in the evening even before I turn out his lamps. Every morning I wake him by turning his lamps back on and he just lays there all limp, and cracks his eyes barely open and just stares at me while I gently tell him good morning handsome boy! It takes him a good half an hour to 45 minutes to actually start to perk up and get moving lol. He is not a morning person at all, but I think he likes our morning routine as much as I do 😊
New Beardie owner here. I’m soo happy to find your educational videos. Saved me from many no nos. I have a 6-7 month old what I believe is a girl. I never imagined that she would steal my heart. TY Elle you’re the 🐝 knees
My dragon loves for mentoring brush him with a soft tooth brush when he is shedding and its really cute how he gets his scratching on while I hold the brush for him.
I just got my first beardie after doing a lot of research and I am kind of amazed at how big of a personality it has. It has times when it doesn't want me in it's tank so I just watch from the outside, and other times it's trying to get my attention. I set it's basking and UVB lights on a timer and the first day when they turned off he looked up and then immediately started scratching on the glass to get my attention. I told him it was night time so the light wasn't coming back on and he ran around for a minute and settled down. I have a ceramic heater to maintain the temperature with a nice gradient of heat from one side to the other side of the tank. I am not sure if it is a male or female yet. My roommate rescued 2 beardies a couple days before I got mine, mine is only a couple months old, and one of his was head bobbing and puffing his throat so I put a piece of cardboard between the tanks. Both of his are males but one is definitely an alpha and the other is super laid back. Mine did the arm wave a couple times but his was pecking at the glass towards mine while mine was trying to take naps so I wanted to stop that. He was basically bullying. For an hour his was running around like a magician maniac trying to figure out how to see mine. Mine also wanted the cardboard removed but I haven't removed it. After a couple days like that mine is much more comfortable and able to rest finally.
Ooooh man I found this video *just* in time to learn about eye bulging, because I've just had my dragon for 2 months, he was approximately a year old when I got him, and he's just started shedding for the first time since I've had him. That would have freaked me out SO BAD if you hadn't told me ahead of time that they did that!! :D
Good morning. I'm going to repticon Montgomery today!!! So excited wish I could meet your cool beardie but I know you're in a different part of Alabama. I'm bringing my sweet ball python.
@@ellesreptiles Honestly it was underwhelming. There were some cool animals there but mostly empty. My pet got a lot of attention lol. It was fun educating people about him though and he got a cool new hide.
Good Morning Ellie I like this video on body language. My 6 month old is just getting braver about things now, I do the wave to him because he was always so scared of me doing things in the tank and it seems to be making him more comfortable about me being around when I do the wave. When I talk to him how he will sit and turn his head sideways and lessen to me so cute. GOD BLESS and have a great Sunday
Oh thank goodness. My juvenile beardie named Steven was doing the arm wipe and I thought something was wrong with him/something in the enclosure was wrong. Now I notice he is eyeballing his reflection when he does this, so I think that’s it.
my bearded dragon has puffed up, hissed, and her beard has gone completely black on me when i’ve tried to pick her up. I had brought her into the bathroom for a little bit to get some extra exercise without the cats around and she wasn’t too happy about going back in the tank. A little background, she is around 1-2 years old and was poorly socialized in that time. I’ve only had her about 2 weeks.
Love this vid!! Even though I have knowledge of bearded dragons, there's so many channels or vids that pretend to be professional or knowledgeable. When In fact, they don't & spread mixed opinions or misinformation.
We’ve had our baby for a little over two months now he’s almost 7 months. His name is Khan. He took sometime getting use to us but now he’s showing us how much personality he has. He loves running, jumping and climbing all over his enclosure and we have started letting him free roam the house a bit(we’re a bit of helicopter parents atm). So we always pick him up and replace him if we need to and he’ll run right back to where we picked him up and sit there and wait, he’ll do this a couple of times. It’s really cute. He’ll also creep to the glass and quickly pop his head up and then he’ll slowly lower it down it one more time then run away. 😂we think he’s playing peekaboo.
I have three dragons, one in particular, Sunny, she wasn't handled much by her owners so she's always sassy when i try to interact with her. She puffs her beard, tilts sideways but wjen i start petting her head she stops and when she's had enough pets she'll whip her head and get all angry again. After feeding her bugs she will be fully standing and looking at you like your food with her head tilted ready to eat 😂
I remember when my bearded dragon first puffed out his eyes, I started freaking out cause I thought he was about to die or something and then I looked back and he was normal. This really helped me understand him more and I have a very healthy beardie right now
our baby dragon is super cuddly. Tiny likes to rub his head on us like a dog doea to show love and turns his head when we are talking to us. he will crawl into our shirt to go to sleep when we are holding him.
My bearded dragon is still a juvenile. I see a lot of people complaining that their beardie doesn't want to eat its vegetables but will eagerly munch on bugs. My beardie doesn't seem to like bugs that much. Half the time he refuses to eat them or acts as if he's annoyed that I'm giving him bugs, but he seems to like his vegetables and fruits. I read that flowers are safe to feed to bearded dragons and I have rose bushes in my garden. I checked and roses are safe for beardies. I gave him a few pink petals and a few red petals. He ate the pink petals, but when I first offered him a red petal, he freaked out with a puffed up super dark beard and open mouth as if the rose petal was a predator that might hurt him. I wonder if it has to do with the color because red insects often are dangerous. He eventually calmed down and ate it, but I thought it was pretty funny he was afraid of a rose petal.
Hey!!! I purchased one of my beardies from you about a year ago and I wanted to say he was in great shape!! You are a great reptile owner and he is a good strong Orville that occasionally poops in his lettuce. :)
That's so awesome that your bearded dragon is doing well! ♥️ I don't breed or sell any reptiles though, and never have 😅 but I'm glad yours is going great 😁
i got my beardie about a year and half ago, she was about one, when i first got her she wouldn't let me in her tank when she was near the door, now she climbs all over me and she even tries to play with my cat but he just runs away, i'm now letting her roam the living room and the cat still runs away.
My beardie gets cranky when I move her from her napping spot on me, normally because I have to do something and have to put her up so I can do whatever is needed
Such a helpful video ❤ I just got my baby beardie for Christmas lol & he does most of these things but the more I notice I learn so much about him, its awesome 😅
Thank you for your videos I just got my bearded dragon and he has stress lines and his neck his dark I learn a lot from you and I ordered dubia roaches thank you they will be here Wednesday 😊
Jupiter sometimes blanks out during feeding, and even sometimes just sitting there. That’s the only way I can describe it. He just stares, doesn’t really react to anything, his name, touch, a bug in his face... Then when he snaps to it’s almost like... “where am I, how did I get here, who are you.... then he is back to normal with in 30 sec. Almost like a human having an Absence seizure. Any ideas, does this happen to anyone else’s?
Zsasz spaces out and won't take bugs or anything if she's consistently missed when trying to eat - just her getting frustrated. She also will space out in her feeding bin after quickly consuming a lot bugs. I just figured she was waiting for it all go down. Then after a few seconds she'll start eating again. 😊
As someone with epilepsy this freaked me out a bit when I first inherited my bearded dragon and he would just stop eating and stare but I totally think Elle's right he gets frustrated when he misses his food. He is a messy eater and if it falls out of his mouth he just stares at it like how'd you get there
You answered one of my questions! Mine does what my kids call “parkour” but I’m guessing it’s because he makes a huge mess with his veggies and doesn’t like the mess. I’ve noticed when I clean the mess up he’s calm
My baby birdie died within 2 weeks of bringing him home. The star gazing behavior was extreme with him. The vet said he was just getting used to his new home. He did enjoy being sung to while resting on my chest. I miss him so much. 😢
my beardie licks like everything and when getting some scratches from me flattens out. it's not angry or stress from me doing that he really likes it. he also like wash cloths
I owned a beardy a long while ago and he was my best friend for nine years. I got him when he was five and I was six, which made him 14 when he died - quite a bit over the average age of 8-10. I still miss him dearly and I still remember all his weird quirks and how picky of an eater he was 😂 thanks for this video! I am hoping to get another beardy at some point and I’ll definitely be using the info in the vid to get back into caring for one!
so when my bearded dragon is basking he dose gape but he also would like throw his head up like he is like yawning then he closes his mouth and puts his head back down.
i rescued my beardie from the wild and the area i found him at is heavily infested with snakes. i also own a shingleback and they get along well. when i first found him he mostly does not like being picked up but he got used to it. something i noticed is that when ever he is sitting on my arm while i play games he runs up my arm and lays on my keyboard and looks at me like "Play with me". i personally find that funny
Im doing my best to learn about Beardies, my sister recently got one as a pet (one of my dream pets) and i want to make sure Sparky (the beardie) can be as happy and comfortable as possible. She’s only 10 and i know she doesnt fully understand peoples feelings, so i just dont want her to accidentally mess up and have Sparky be unhappy with her. (Trying to be a good older sibling)
My bearded Tweak seems to have a schedule. She wants to eat first thing, veggies are not her favorite, she usually poops soon after then starts glass surfing to get out of her enclosure. She loves free ranging in the house, spending time outside and being held.
Had that head raising on my male some weeks later buying him from pet store. He most did a 180 degrees turn with his head, so almost on his back. Went to vet and she handled it. He's now almost 13yr old and healthy.
i just got my bearded dragon baby today and i notice that he/she is doing the stargazing but like toward the exact spot of the basking light, hopefully he/she will be alright
Mojave is VERY calm almost all the time like when she’s in her enclosure or when she’s being held, but sometimes when I put her on my bed she just runs around as fast as she can! She loves her exercise i guess 😂
I was told that their beats being dark means they are happy or excited. So this is good to know now and I’ll be more careful with that. Also my bearded dragon is mostly just lazy. But I do my best to get him out some and walk around and be in the sun😇. Also your videos are really fun to watch so keep up the great work and take care. Be safe everyone
My bearded dragon usually looks at me before she goes anywhere just to make sure that I see where she’s going or just looking to see if she can go over there and she also does this when knows she is not supposed to be there 😅
Elle this was a amazing video and greatly appreciated. I’m getting my first bearded dragon tomorrow. Our family is so excited. I have dogs and tarantulas but never a reptile so I’m a little nervous. I do have a question for you. The breeder I’m getting her from has been doing this for 32 years and has rave reviews online and is respected. He does keep his dragons on an inch of sand)not calcium, organic play sand) Now I know the conflicting opinions on this but I did have a long convo w him. He says he’s been doing that substrate for 32 years and never had a issue w impaction. I also was nervous in getting a female bc of the egg thing and he laughed and said he’s only seen that once in 32 years so I also got a female. So what I took from him and my own research is I’ll be doing the sand but will only be feeding greens in a bowl in there and will be taking out to feed live food like roaches worms etc. what do you think of this? She was $500 so I don’t want to lose her for something stupid more importantly for the welfare of the animal but also bc $500 isn’t a little chunk of change. I also will be a new subscriber to your channel bc I respect and admire it. Btw I think you are very beautiful but I’m married so don’t get any ideas 🤣 JK thanks in advance for answering.
Hi! 😊 As long as it's not calcium sand, it should be fine. I used to often warn against "sand" in videos, just because if I said regular sand was ok, people would still get calcium sand 😣. But regular play sand is fine! I'll be doing a bioactive setup for my beardie soon, and the substrate will be play sand mixed with top soil (the same thing I use for my leopard geckos). As far as egg binding, my beardie was egg bound and had to have surgery 😅. But that's because she was sold to me as a male, and then she developed eggs at less than a year old, AND the vet I was taking her to at the time didn't know how to really care for her, so even she couldn't tell me about the eggs. So it's not something that happens very often at all. If the breeder is highly reviewed, you should be in good hands 🥰 And thank you so much for the kind words! 😊
I really love your videos. I have 5 beardie bungalow dragons. And these are my 1st dragons I'm really gonna need some help. And your videos have really been helping me thanks so much❤️❤️❤️💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾🥰🥰
He keeps on trying like his mouth is open. When I try to put him back in his cage, he always tries to open his mouth and act like he’s threatened or when I put them on my bed, he always tries to walk off the edge.
I just got my dragon Osiris. He’s eight weeks old, and has been three days in his new home. Just want to know that if I wanted to give him a bath - and he hasn’t been handled yet by me - is it fine and/or wise for me to scoop him up anyways, or just let him work at his own comfort level? I’ve been trying to just get him familiar with my hand in the cage and sometimes he’s skittish, and very few times he’s not so much, and just more chill. Anyways, i am loving your content! It has been super helpful and relieving! You’re information is great! Thank you for sharing it.
Great video. And my bearded dragon Jimmy gets jealous when my kids come over he will start glass surfing like crazy when they come over. Doesn't do it any other time though 😂

don’t forget: staring off into space means they’re buffering. life is hard when you have all of two brain cells
My Gobber head bobs at me until I take him out of his tank so he can lay on my chest and falls asleep there. He is so spoiled. I just love him
How is your bearded dragon does he still do this?
@@haydenmccaffrey3091 He is great and yes he does all of the time to get my attention.
I want a bearded dragon do you think the make good pets
@@haydenmccaffrey3091 I love my guy but he is a lot of work. You have to have the correct lights and temperature. To me it is very stressful. I am always worrying if I am doing it correctly so I don't hurt my sweetheart. Would I do it again Yes in a heartbeat.
@@rennieleroy6319 would you recommend a Bearded dragon
My baby falls asleep on my chest every night, if I put her down too quick she wiggles back in my hand. So cute ☺️ she spoiled as hell
That's so cute 🥰
mine too 😂
❤️❤️
Good job! Rosa my bearded dragon will always judge whoever walks by her tank from her hot spot. I find animal communication to be very fascinating!
A big red flag is any new behaviour or them acting differently than usual, especially if it’s for a long time so keep an eye on that 😊
Yes! Very important to learn to respect their boundaries. So much stress could be avoided if everyone followed that advice. 😊
@@ellesreptiles So true 💕
I suspect that my beardie follows me around his tank. My bed is on one side and computer on the other and without fail he always seems to be just behind my head, watching...waiting.
While he doesnt glass surf to get my attention I have noticed he flexes his beard once or twice and then dramatically flops down into a very sulky pancake until I come over. He tends to do this a lot close to his thermostat turning to night mode, since he falls asleep in my lap each night.
Awwww that's so cute. Beardies are so dramatic haha
Thank you for all your info. Because of this channel, I am getting a bearded dragon in 2 days!
Yay! Congrats! 🎉
How is your bearded dragon doing ?
@@haydenmccaffrey3091 Thanks for asking! He's been doing great, and seems happy with everything (They are much cuter in real life lol)
I really appreciate how informative your channel is on beardies, you’re really my go-to guide on taking care of them!
Awww thank you 🥰 I'm so glad the videos are helpful!
My bearded dragon will try to eat something and miss a couple times and then give up I’m like are you hungry or not LOL 😂
@Bearded_dragon_mama it’s so funny to watch
Good morning Elle, hope you're Sunday is amazing!! You have such a cute bearded dragon.
I hope yours is too! And thank you 😊

My Beardie gives me the cold shoulder…
Small back story first: We rescued an 18 month old beardie, who we found out a few weeks later, from abnormal behaviors becoming more obvious that she had a calcium deficiency.
We just got a beardie. And he’s been starting to stand on hind legs against the glass. What could this mean
I'm so glad I could help! And yes, storage bins are definitely the way to go - saves so much money. 😊
My bearded dragon, Gavin, will sit on my chest/shoulder area. He then decides he is going to nap and does this really adorable "scrunch-wiggle." Love it 💓
Awww 🥺♥️
My bb will scrunch wiggle too
My Ernest does this also and tucks his arms in close to his body and his little hands on the sides of his body. Super cute.
He is not a morning person at all, but I think he likes our morning routine as much as I do 😊
On my 6th bearded dragon care / info video as we get closer to picking up our first one. So helpful!
That's so amazing that you're doing so much research! Love it. You're going to go great 🥰
New Beardie owner here.
So happy I found your channel and my beardie Oden is happy too!
i just got a beardie a couple weeks ago this helped me so much!! thank you!!!!
I'm so glad the videos have helped! 😊
AWESOME VIDEO 🤩🤩😍 love the beardie videos love this channel u saved me and my dragon well done!
Awww I'm so glad the videos help! 😊
Good morning. I'm going to repticon Montgomery today!!! So excited wish I could meet your cool beardie but I know you're in a different part of Alabama. I'm bringing my sweet ball python.
I hope you enjoyed it! I've never been to one in Montgomery. How was it? 😊
@@ellesreptiles Honestly it was underwhelming. There were some cool animals there but mostly empty. My pet got a lot of attention lol. It was fun educating people about him though and he got a cool new hide.
My bearded dragon likes to lay on my chest and get petted. He gets so relaxed, he ends up taking a nap.
Thank you! 😊 I love that that helped make him more comfortable. That's super interesting
Oh thank goodness. My juvenile beardie named Steven was doing the arm wipe and I thought something was wrong with him/something in the enclosure was wrong. Now I notice he is eyeballing his reflection when he does this, so I think that’s it.
My dragon has this one spot in his tank that he loves and he is ether in his spot or in his cave and he is so cute when he lays in those spots.
my bearded dragon has puffed up, hissed, and her beard has gone completely black on me when i’ve tried to pick her up.
This really helped me understand him more and I have a very healthy beardie right now
I am getting a bearded dragon soon and I have been doing a lot of my research using this channel thank you
I'm glad the videos have been helpful 😊
My drogon when ever he touches water he moves his arm really fast
our baby dragon is super cuddly. Tiny likes to rub his head on us like a dog doea to show love and turns his head when we are talking to us. he will crawl into our shirt to go to sleep when we are holding him.
My babe “2Chainz” pancakes himself almost everyday. My best guess is that he is trying to warm himself or he’s really comfortable.
Thanks as a kinda new dragon owner (well its my 7 year olds) this was all very helpful and you are good at keeping attention with good info thanks
"Being pale means they are relaxed and calm"
My hypo zero beardie constently running around, jumping off sofas, and pooping on the floor.
😂
I don't breed or sell any reptiles though, and never have 😅 but I'm glad yours is going great 😁
@@ellesreptiles Hmmm that's weird. 🤔 I guess I bought it from another company that just coincedentally had the same name as your Channel.
I think there's a breeder called Cam And Elles Reptiles. Maybe they were the ones?
@@ellesreptiles Maybe!
i got my beardie about a year and half ago, she was about one, when i first got her she wouldn't let me in her tank when she was near the door, now she climbs all over me and she even tries to play with my cat but he just runs away, i'm now letting her roam the living room and the cat still runs away.
@@ellesreptiles that makes sense, thank you! I am glad it’s not just him.
Awww I'm so sorry 🥺💔
I’ve adopted a slightly older dragon. I call him Rowdy Joe because he’s so feisty. He’s quite the character 🥰
my beardie licks like everything and when getting some scratches from me flattens out. it's not angry or stress from me doing that he really likes it. he also like wash cloths
This video was so much fun to watch!!!
I'm glad you enjoyed it 🥰
Thank you this helped a lot!
Thank you for the info. I'm a new owner, too. My daughter rescued a one year old for me. We are going to get him properly set-up and get to know him.
I don't even want a bearded dragon and I'm still watching this 😍
so when my bearded dragon is basking he dose gape but he also would like throw his head up like he is like yawning then he closes his mouth and puts his head back down.
i rescued my beardie from the wild and the area i found him at is heavily infested with snakes. i also own a shingleback and they get along well. when i first found him he mostly does not like being picked up but he got used to it. something i noticed is that when ever he is sitting on my arm while i play games he runs up my arm and lays on my keyboard and looks at me like "Play with me". i personally find that funny
Good info didn’t know about the stargazing
B. Dragon: Oh shit. Help bro, I'm falling!!
Tail: *Helicopter Helicopter*
I got my beardie (Olly) yesterday and I am completely OBSESSSEEEEEEDDD.
Oh man I’m 2 weeks into having my beardie and just got to the eye bulging part. Just noticed it doing it that last night and freaked out a little 😅
why dose Godzilla just stare and sit? (beardie)
i just got my bearded dragon baby today and i notice that he/she is doing the stargazing but like toward the exact spot of the basking light, hopefully he/she will be alright
I was always wondering why my beardie (1 & a half year old) always glass surfs and looks at me when I walk past
I have a frilled neck lizard but as I’ve had it I’ve noticed that there behavior is very similar to a bearded dragons.
Mojave is VERY calm almost all the time like when she’s in her enclosure or when she’s being held, but sometimes when I put her on my bed she just runs around as fast as she can! She loves her exercise i guess 😂
Got the zoomies, probably likes the spftness of the bed
I was told that their beats being dark means they are happy or excited. So this is good to know now and I’ll be more careful with that. Also my bearded dragon is mostly just lazy. But I do my best to get him out some and walk around and be in the sun😇. Also your videos are really fun to watch so keep up the great work and take care. Be safe everyone
I'm so glad I could help! And that's good that you get your beardie out into the sun 🥰
I love it when black Beard 🖤 looks at me as soon as we both wake up. We look for each other 😢😂❤❤❤❤
I recently bought a baby bearded dragon and I think it’s funny because it crawls back up my arm when I try to lower it in to its tank
You gave alot of helpful information 👍thank you!!!
It's crazy your in Decatur, we lived in Huntsville
@ 3:26 😂😂the Million dollar question
Love your vids!! Your awesome, really really awesome!!
My bearded dragon usually looks at me before she goes anywhere just to make sure that I see where she’s going or just looking to see if she can go over there and she also does this when knows she is not supposed to be there 😅
6:00 it's actually to increase their surface area as to warm up.
Your channel is fantastic 💕
Hi! 😊
As long as it's not calcium sand, it should be fine.
If the breeder is highly reviewed, you should be in good hands 🥰
And thank you so much for the kind words!
Yes my bearded dragon will "crash land" sometimes when she sleeps. I will find her sleeping flat with both her hands out flat behind her. It's cute :)
My baby bearded dragon, named harley, likes to sleep standing up with his belly against the glass
Should I be worried if there are a lot of signs that he does not exibit? Or is it that I'm just never around when it happens.

Lots of good info, thank you.
