Even more chilling if he wasn't eaten by a shark and instead just watched the ship disappear out of reach, left in the black abyss of the ocean to tread water as long as he could until exhaustion overcame him and he drowned. Horrible way to go.
The is most likely what happened. You cannot see a shark from water level, especially in the dark. You might see a fin but in the dark i doubt it.... The splashing is like the ripples from when he jumped in hitting the side of the boat. A current might have just pulled him off
Not only shark infested waters, but this kid also jumped off a cruise ship in the middle of the ocean at night. Even with a buoy you're most likely going to die by getting stranded and drowning or dehydration. Be safe, break a leg but don't kill yourself
I used to be in the Marines and I went on deployment with my crew, a lot of the guys would come back after deployment with 15 or 20 grand saved in the bank and would get themselves killed in all sorts of ways from fast cars, drunk driving, drug overdose
That’s life in a nutshell. You think any rich kids are joining the marines? Their is a reason why all the recruiting offices are in poor/ghetto city/towns. Sad part most of the kids come from poor/broken homes. Some make it out some don’t. At the end of the day 100 years later none of us will even be remembered so who cares 😁
And there’s an entire political movement founded on young people like that not just having wealth comparable to people who’ve worked and saved for decades. Force a stockpile of wealth (not even totally unearned wealth) on some of them and it’s quickly a tragedy.
I’m glad you came out fine, with that being said there is no right or wrong way to raise kids. Some kids thrive in a shit environment and other detoriate with a golden spoon. Give your self credit as much as you give your parents.
@Quincy Payne I don’t mean mistreating the kids but some do better experiencing hardships and it can build great character. I’ve seen to many family meme bets given every opportunity and given everything and the result is drug use and jail. I’ve seen it first hand.
Meh, I was raised as well as you could raise a kid, parents stayed together, never any abuse, would come pick me up with no questions from parties, praised honesty with them, and I still did stupid things. I've always been terrified of heights, so I never would have done this, but I can look back at my younger years and see the many ways I could have died. Hell, I was in the honors dorm at LSU my first semester in college, on the same campus where this kid was from, and that first weekend in the dorm with the best of the best of Louisiana was the wildest scene I've ever seen in my life. Kids passed out in the stairwells, at least two different ambulance calls, and I had tons of random knocks on my dorm room from people who could hardly stand up straight, it was like the college parties you see in movies. People that age just don't make smart decisions.
Same in a way. I was 18 at Woodstock 99. When the event was done, everyone was setting fires and looting stores. Not me. I just wanted to go home and get stoned.
That's so chilling to watch as this child goes missing right in front of everyone, as his parents never got stay goodbye or tell him how dumb that would be to jump.
yeah worst part is you know the mom or dad probably telling themselves now " I knew the cruise wasn't a good idea" That's something they will have to live with forever given they were the ones who had to consent his departure. That's a type of death that can bring down a whole family. They will forever question their judgment and have to harbor the humility of the kids poor judgment. ROUGH
@@308MiA 😂 yes. I’m fine. Happy and alive and on land smoking a blunt and getting high. Being able to look back to when I was 18 and at Woodstock. I had fun. Yet I didn’t do anything that would put my in bodily danger like Cameron. Cameron can’t look back at 42 like I can because he when he was 18, he did something that put him in great risk and the shark won. I’m soooo happy this man never got to reproduce. 😅😅😅😅😅
He is a cautionary tale and as horrible as his death was I think it might stop some reckless people from making the biggest mistake of their lives. Hopefully some teenagers will think twice now.
Better to die jumping off a pirate ship and being eaten by sharks, or to live to 84 and have some person who doesn´t even like you that wipes your ass finds you dead in a corner?
Let’s not forget when stories like these come along: “Shark infested” is inaccurate. They’re “shark inhabited”. If anything they’re “people infested”. It’s sad a kid lost his life. But, if it was the shark, technically he broke into the sharks house so….I mean….how can I be mad at the shark or the drunk kid? Just sad all the way around.
I can’t stop thinking about how his last minutes were... I had just gotten back from my first cruise (also to the Bahamas) a couple weeks before this happened. Even if the shark attack wasn’t immediate, IT IS DARK OUT THERE!!! We’d admire our balcony view at night, it was beautiful but super scary at the same time. I can only imagine that lit, loud boat getting quieter and tinier as it goes off into the distance… Until eventually, it’s just you, the sound of waves and pure blackness all around… 😖 I don’t wish that fate on anyone but he did it to himself…

The closest feeling i could chalk this up to is the morning I realized id never drive wasted again in my life.
It's a tragedy, especially for the friends and family, however, thank you for saying what needed to be said. Young people think the world can't touch them and they seriously screw up their lives because of it.
It’s impossible for me to sympathize even though I’m trying. I was always the wet blanket of my friends’ group growing up because I seemed to be the only one aware of the consequences for stupid decisions. The ugly truth about kids that age is that if you gave them the choice between having 15 minutes of fame or finding the cure for cancer, they’re gonna go with fame every time. Not only shark infested waters, but this kid also jumped off a cruise ship in the middle of the ocean at night. Even with a buoy you're most likely going to die by getting stranded and drowning or dehydration. Be safe, break a leg but don't kill yourself
the ocean is like space, you leave the ship you will never be found.
@@asuhdude6668 😂
Same with the oil workers in canada. Lost a few friends theyd come back loaded and get way too fuked up and crash or od
What about leaping off a booze cruise pirate ship into shark infested waters?
He died doing what he loved.
Being dumb as shit
He loved getting eaten by sharks?

There are moments that define your life, especially your death.
Yup. Cameron will be known as a dumbass who died in the most horrifying yet entertaining way that everyone will go on to live and enjoy.
*tragic video ends with kids screaming*
Tim: Wow. Let's watch it one more time...
That’s just life in the big city 🦈
I will forever be grateful to my parents for raising my brother & I right.
I’m glad you came out fine, with that being said there is no right or wrong way to raise kids. Some kids thrive in a shit environment and other detoriate with a golden spoon. Give your self credit as much as you give your parents.
@fraink1100 there definitely is a wrong way to raise kids 😂

@@Filthy_Larry LMAO . You were at Woodstock '99 and you're talking about people who shouldn't reproduce.

He is a cautionary tale and as horrible as his death was I think it might stop some reckless people from making the biggest mistake of their lives. Hopefully some teenagers will think twice now.

You have lost your mind
Better to die jumping off a pirate ship and being eaten by sharks, or to live to 84 and have some person who doesn´t even like you that wipes your ass finds you dead in a corner?
I’d rather be found dead in a corner than found dead in multiple corners of the sea floor lol

I think it’s the time in between 18-84 that people are interested in

I had no idea he was an apprentice welder
"Oh, bye bye" bruh that was so cold yet so funny but also extremely realistic. 😂
Let’s not forget when stories like these come along:
“Shark infested” is inaccurate.
USS Indianapolis
The boat was anchored, what you see is him swimming in current.
@@spritemultipackat least the crew of the Indianapolis had debris and lifeboats to cling to, not to mention dozens of your fellow sailors in the same situation. I can’t imagine being completely alone in that situation
So dumb
Oh no.... anyways
My good friend had ruined his life senior year towards our graduation, ended up commuting vehicular manslaughter to another person but just goes to show what Tim is saying is 100% facts, unfortunately it’s survival if the fittest and playing stupid games can win you stupid prizes
Stop with the stupid prizes line. Low energy beta males use this term constantly. Just stop.
Both fittest and luckiest
I'm guessing alcohol was involved? How long did he end up getting in prison ?
He needs bigger glasses
Or smaller face
Were gonna need bigger glasses.
"It was my senior summer and... he went an' got her."
Describing a murder as "he got her" is the funniest shit ever 🤣
WTF are his glasses, looks like he got a windshield riveted to his face lol.
Those glasses probably cost more than a car.
Rick Owens $680.00
18 years just for that moment.
Him blossoming into a full blown alex jones satire at this point is fookin amazing
the bigger the glasses become the better the rants are
A good friend crashed into a pole and was ejected from his seat, died immediately. He was 21, Tim was spot on here.
We wish him well
🏌️♂️
At least he learned his lesson
1 friend of mine was sitting on the tailgate of a pickup while his drunk brother drove. he fell, hit his head, died instantly. another friend drove himself into a semi after running away from the air force. another two, a couple, from a motorcycle crash. another from fentanyl. all 18-20.
@@RicketyRocketyRoowhat’s up with everyone dying so young. My other friend, 19, was shot and killed in a public park bathroom. Some sort of deal gone wrong.
'This is the cost of fame' as his last thought, frickin slayed me Tim.
Man jumped in literal shark waters. That is natural selection at work
I remember a guy in high school who’s family was extremely wealthy. They bought him a Ferrari for his birthday and he crashed it into a wall at 80mph and died.
My thought was, “God, I’m glad my parents are broke. Being rich is dangerous.”
That guy would have grown to kill others. Be glad he died from stupidity.
I spit my lunch out at "gumbo high school." Well played sir, well played
Ironically, Tim is right; literally none of us would have ever known this dude-brah’s name. He did give us a gift 🎁 We wish him well.
There’s multiple videos on it. This one you can’t even see. Find one you can.
I still don't know his name
Its a real shark fight out there…
Lol
Excellent lol
His narrative was spot on. Bro risked it all for the crazy story and it over performed.
Sharks follow the ships because they toss garbage and food out into the water that they eat.
“Let’s watch this video again, now it’s very sad..”
😂😂😂
Tim put it in perspective. The eeriest thing about this whole story for me and im sure alot of others is how this couldve very will been a decision i would have made at some point in my life. The closest feeling i could chalk this up to is the morning I realized id never drive wasted again in my life.
The gift that keeps on giving. Trauma what a gift he gave them. Lol
Maybe he was just of those spoiled rich rowdy kids. Even the sharks got tired of it and finished him off.
I feel like this lacks a little empathy. He was just a kid who made a mistake and it cost him everything. Very sad
After being at first disturbed and then second angry over the original video, this is exactly the kind of Tim Dillon video I needed.
It's a tragedy, especially for the friends and family, however, thank you for saying what needed to be said. Young people think the world can't touch them and they seriously screw up their lives because of it.
That shark had a good dinner.
We wish him well.
We also wish the sharks well.

Alcohol.
You need to see the video where he is punching 3-4x in the water before he turns and swims in the other direction
Teenagers have no humanity whatsoever. It’s a time in a person’s life where the ONLY thing on their mind is “how can I draw more attention to myself?”
“Everybody witnessed his death…at the hands of a shark”
