And I just watched the video, The First girl is the ice skater since they move with a small stop, That not many would notice and her ankle wasn't as arched as it was supposed to since Ice skaters don't necesarily need to arch their ankle, Her movement were restricted, Since she wasn't used to this practice of moves. The second one had more fluid movements though she had a bit of a stumble, her movemnts were refined and poised, her hand also automatically went to her hip and her ankled were arched enough and her other foot kept her raised in the air but the other one was just raising her foot up and down. I think I get what you are trying to say- with the first one, because she is stable with some control, one would usually think she was the dancer. But with the second girl...she has the correct choreography and the subtle foot positioning but I think she's trying to be "bad", on purpose. After several times watching though, because it's such a tiny clip, they start to merge in your brain and who knows - for those of us who don't dance (ballet or contemporary), figure skating or gymnastics (traditional or rhythmic).

Ice skaters skate with their feet in a normal pose, while ballerinas are usually on their tip toes. Ballerinas were probably taught how to lift their leg up but only while on their tip toes, so it may become a habit for them when lifting their leg like that. Ice skaters, however, can lift their leg up without the habit of pointing their toes. The second girl looks like she's trying hard not to do a tip toe so my answer is that the first girl is an ice skater and the second girl is the ballerina.
As someone who has been practicing ballet for 9 years, and is now en pointe, this statement is completely false. Not saying this to be rude though. You learn everything on flat first, and we do grand battement (which is what she's doing) at the barre, on flat, every class. After learning the basics, you go on Relevé (on the balls of your feet). Also, a common misconceived notion is that ballerinas dance on their tippy toes all the time, but you learn everything on flat, without pointe shoes first, and your dance teachers have to tell you if you can go en pointe or not if you want to.

The first person IS the one that keeps moving the “tambourine” out of reach… (I.e. my guess is that the first person is the skater). she’s the one that is lifting her arm at the same time so she’s not actually kicking the thing that she’s holding. (She’s supposed to kick it because in that dance it’s supposed to be a tambourine that she’s playing with her foot. I think even a ballerina that hasn’t learned the dance would be familiar with it). Also to be fair, I think the second person is pretending to not have balance, but she still has the right motion to play her “tambourine”.

first is the ice skater, mostly because she has great balance on her feet and look like she can hold movement quite well on skates, while the second one is the ballerina cuz although she had trouble to do the thing she had more flexibility and her form actually fix one of the actions of ballerina dances (I forgot what they are called) plus she did the little hop that ballerina do when they actually do the thing correctly too.

2nd one is a ballerina, when your a ballerina from experience from younger me, you normally get onto your tippy toes while doing stuff like that, and being a ice skater means you have to have balance or you could hit someone or hit your head, and if your flexible enough and the chances of this happening is slim to none is if the blade is sharp enough and you bend to the point it hits your head, and you could slice your head open

Ice skaters skate with their feet in a normal pose, while ballerinas are usually on their tip toes. Ballerinas were probably taught how to lift their leg up but only while on their tip toes, so it may become a habit for them when lifting their leg like that. Ice skaters, however, can lift their leg up without the habit of pointing their toes. The second girl looks like she's trying hard not to do a tip toe so my answer is that the first girl is an ice skater and the second girl is the ballerina.
As someone who has been practicing ballet for 9 years, and is now en pointe, this statement is completely false. Not saying this to be rude though. You learn everything on flat first, and we do grand battement (which is what she's doing) at the barre, on flat, every class. After learning the basics, you go on Relevé (on the balls of your feet). Also, a common misconceived notion is that ballerinas dance on their tippy toes all the time, but you learn everything on flat, without pointe shoes first, and your dance teachers have to tell you if you can go en pointe or not if you want to.
As someone who figure skates, Skates, especially more advanced ones are pointed. Its like high heels. The only exception is hockey skates.

(She’s supposed to kick it because in that dance it’s supposed to be a tambourine that she’s playing with her foot. I think even a ballerina that hasn’t learned the dance would be familiar with it).
