I've just a week ago had cancer surgery in my throat which was much larger than all scans showed, enlarged nodules and nodules within nodules, and a thyroidectomy. I was cut ear to ear basically. I had surgery on the 8th and I'm still sick and weak. I swapped a hospital bed for mine. It has all triggered my anxiety which in turn triggered my PTSD. We're also having an unusually cold winter here in Queensland, Australia, which is causing bone pain. I'm still on morphine. I've also been forced to put it for a deferral at university. It's my 9th degree (I'm 58yo as you could probably see from my photo), but every other degree was career related. This one I've wanted to do since I was 14yo just for the love of it - a BA with a double major in Ancient History and Anthropology. I know many people have it much worse than me, but we all have a story bigger than the story. I have full faith in the man I love. I've loved him for 42yrs. Not walking away because a few problems come up is nothing. Thanks for holding space as always love. It's 1am Thursday here.
