This is to be used during exteeme situations where its impossible not to do it. If you have a fire alarm inside or outside. Pull it! Yes. It may be an legal offense but if your life is at risk. It may be a good idea. Everyone will rush out from the building to help or at least scare the perpetrator away. Help from fire department may arrive faster too.

A personal portable alarm. When you press the button it makes a loud siren sound.
Getting cameras is a good idea but don't cheap out on the quality. Need to be able to identify the suspect(s).
