As a South Indian (Kannadiga) I feel so enamored by the UP culture shown in this show. It reinforces my belief that we all Indians are basically the same at the core, just the external factors of basha, khana, pehenna etc can be different. Watching Panchayat episodes makes me feel that someone returned few moments from my childhood back to me. I have some very beautiful memories from my summer vacations in my village.
It's such a world class production. If someone sits to watch it only with the intention to find flaws, he will hardly find a single.. acting direction everything is so flawless, it never seems we are watching a drama. And the story is to so relatable, and so relatable, so soothing to mood, after a long stressful day I used to watch at least one episode and it would lift my mood. It's filled with comedy, but nowhere there is any extra effort to make it fun for audience..

Always like stories about Village Life . This series also educate people living in urban area about what is panchayt, Pradhan, Sachiv at village level, who is BDO and how DM controls these people. Ladies become Village Pradhan but their husbands run the office. All this very well shown in the series. One thing more, without mirch masala a good content can become superhit. Simplicity touches the heart and one easily relates to the characters. Characters look real and not overacting. Beautiful creation. Thanks to the writer and Director..🎉🎉

I did not watch Panchayat, but I felt I lived through it, experienced it. Both the series were mesmerizing. Every writer can learn a thing or two about how to write simple, how to create characters that are simple, how to keep plot so simple, yet effective. Panchayat can go on for lot more seasons... Wonderful work by the entire team

Every character shines, no matter what their screen time. One of the best series ever. It gave me the same feel as Malgudi Days. The music is just heart warming. 👍👍👍🤩🤩🤩

All depends on the script. Writers of this show are just incredible. Good actors can’t bag you audience unless and until you have great story and script.
