You just need to add up the RGB value of every pixel of a frame to get the total brightness. Then you subtract the total brightness to the frame before and make a graph out of the absolute value, which you could display in UA-cam Studio for creators. And if the graph exceeds a threshold over a significant amount of seconds (for example 3 seconds, but I don't know at what point it's getting dangerous for viewers with epilepsy) you add a warning before the video (like the age restriction warning). This is something a computer science student could code in a day or two. So UA-cam really should have added this loooooong ago.

As I've gotten older and matured I've realized in situations like these that are very embarrassing, the more embarrassed you let yourself get the more it'll kill your confidence and lead to more embarrassment. It's better to suck it up and just go with it. At the end of the day other people are just humans and they realize what's going on.

Random but wanted to say thank you Connor for the epilepsy warning at the beginning!! I just got through having a series of seizures yesterday and have been bed ridden since. In the days afterward, I have to be super careful about what content I watch; it's really nice knowing there are creators out there looking out for us.

@@EbanescenceJ I think this would actually be really easy compared to their ContentID system for example which can recognize music and DMCA claim it even if it's in the background or faster. You just need to add up the RGB value of every pixel of a frame to get the total brightness. Then you subtract the total brightness to the frame before and make a graph out of the absolute value, which you could display in UA-cam Studio for creators. And if the graph exceeds a threshold over a significant amount of seconds (for example 3 seconds, but I don't know at what point it's getting dangerous for viewers with epilepsy) you add a warning before the video (like the age restriction warning).
This is something a computer science student could code in a day or two. So UA-cam really should have added this loooooong ago.
