Dr M Nageshwara Rao
1. Graduated in M.Sc Physics (Electronics) with a First Rank from Andhra University, Vizag.
2. Later he did his PhD in Physics in Sri Krishna Devaraya University, Anantpur, AP.
ISRO Experience:-
1. He joined ISRO in 1982 and was responsible for Integration & Testing of all the INSAT and GSAT Satellites.
2. He developed several software modules for the spacecraft integration activities.
3. He was involved in India’s very first Space Capsule Recovery Experiment (SRE) and contributed significantly.
4. As the Project Director, He was responsible for the realization of NavIC Constellation Space Segment.
5. Subsequently he was elevated to a senior management role in the ISRO Satellite Center as Deputy Director in spearheading various activities in Spacecraft Integration, Spacecraft Check-Out, Power Systems, Communication Systems and Reliability Areas.
6. He became the Associate Director of ISRO Satellite Center (now Prof UR Rao Satellite Center) to oversee the realization of various Satellite Programs and their Techno Administration.
7. He was moved to ISRO Head Quarters to streamline the realization of various Satellite Programs through policy formulations and coordination with different ISRO Centers and
functioned as the Program Director (Space Infrastructure).
8. He retired from ISRO Service in the year 2020 as a Distinguished
Scientist after 38 years of service.
9. For another year, ISRO made use of his Technical expertise as a
Prof Satish Dhavan Scientist.
