3Ms and 8 inch lights are still pretty common in New Jersey (my home state) as well as the old style truss arms holding the lights, I am now in Florida and they are practically non existent.
@@3mdoghouse95 interestingly still plenty of them in PA, and if you look at Honolulu they are sporadically added as a filter light at junctions with led lights (why they are still there clinging onto life is beyond me)
That first train going through on your intro that's Mineola station Long Island Railroad I know because I used to watch the trains come through there all the time
Thank You so much! I tend on doing this as long as there is UA-cam. The only way i would stop is if UA-cam stopped. And even then i would create my own website and put my videos on there.
Was there a railway station next to the crossing? I'm guessing that would be why the train was slowing down in the first part as it passed through the crossing, and then speeding up when going the other way.
Freedomtowerman Productions I know, I didn't mean to criticize your video here...they could turn right with a right turn signal if the gate wasn't blocking them.
Sheesh, traffic signal, train crossing signal, pedestrian crossing, multiple junctions... these do not competent driving make. :-) And I never understood the legacy behind and the continuation of trains in USA having a bell ringing when they move.
I love those 3Ms and those old 8 inch signals! Everything in this video brings back my fond childhood memories of Michigan.

Yeah I don't recall seeing either a 3M or an 8 inch signal anywhere in Florida.

Yes, the Red Bank Train Station is right after this crossing.
Surprised no one mentioned the car running the red light at the end...
Where in jersey? Great video!
Red Bank, and thank you!
3:25 I think the street on the near left could've been left out of the crossing.
Well i included it because of the crossing signal there.

@@MegaZsolti All traffic has a 'NO turn on red' sign.
I noticed the Safetran bells got rather weak when the gate mechs started.
Yea i noticed that too, i wonder why this hapened!
Freedomtowerman Productions Maybe due to the current draw from the gate mechs?
***** your guess is as good as mine, i got no clue
Awesome video. Is that a transit line only
Thank You Eric!
Mostly yes, CSX and NS use this line once a week, but branch off just after the station and go down a spur to Lakewood.

Its an added warning along with the horn.
