2 NJ Transit trains pass through 4-way crossing

- This video was shot at the Mommuth Ave/Bridge Street railroad crossing in Red Bank, New Jersey
Since yesterday was my birthday, my mother gave me a ride down to Red Bank to film a few crossings. Since i have not been to this crossing in almost 4 years, i decided to re-film it, this time from 2 different angles.
Crossing Info:
Signal #1: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch LED lights, a Safetran gate motor and a WC Hayes Mechanical bell
Signal #2: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch LED lights, a Safetran gate motor and a Safetran Mechanical bell
Signal #3: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch LED lights, a Safetran gate motor and a Safetran Mechanical bell
Signal #4: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch LED lights, a Safetran gate motor and a WC Hayes Mechanical bell
2 of the 3 pedestrian gates here have Safetran gate motors. The 3rd gate has a WC Hayes gate motor!
These 2 crossings are located on NJ Transit's North Jersey Coast Line!

I love those 3Ms and those old 8 inch signals! Everything in this video brings back my fond childhood memories of Michigan.
3Ms and 8 inch lights are still pretty common in New Jersey (my home state) as well as the old style truss arms holding the lights, I am now in Florida and they are practically non existent.
Yeah I don't recall seeing either a 3M or an 8 inch signal anywhere in Florida.
@@3mdoghouse95 interestingly still plenty of them in PA, and if you look at Honolulu they are sporadically added as a filter light at junctions with led lights (why they are still there clinging onto life is beyond me)

I tend on doing this as long as there is UA-cam. The only way i would stop is if UA-cam stopped. And even then i would create my own website and put my videos on there.

Surprised no one mentioned the car running the red light at the end...
Was there a railway station next to the crossing? I'm guessing that would be why the train was slowing down in the first part as it passed through the crossing, and then speeding up when going the other way.
Yes, the Red Bank Train Station is right after this crossing.
I noticed the Safetran bells got rather weak when the gate mechs started.
Yea i noticed that too, i wonder why this hapened!

I know, I didn't mean to criticize your video here...they could turn right with a right turn signal if the gate wasn't blocking them.

To be honest, I don't like 4 way crossings, they just confuse me.
They can be pretty confusing if you think about it.
Sheesh, traffic signal, train crossing signal, pedestrian crossing, multiple junctions... these do not competent driving make. :-)
And I never understood the legacy behind and the continuation of trains in USA having a bell ringing when they move.
No they don't some intersections go overboard with these designs.
Its an added warning along with the horn.

Its pretty old. Yea the crossing looks pretty much the same as it did back then
