I’ve been wrongly flagged for AI in the past by turnitin and OpenAI discontinued their AI detector for being unreliable. Just advising you be weary of it. There is currently little to no technology reliable enough to accurately detect AI.

I just created something Ai and ran it through turnitin. It said that 0% was Ai...which is nuts.

What if they wrote the summary or comment themselves and just used AI or grammerly AI to improve how it reads (based on their own original work).Even though it's their original work and AI has tweaked it then Turnitin will still say it's AI generated. Ai can be used as a supportive tool for helping with writing etc. I think we need to be careful how this is policed in future. We're seeing more and more co creation of student/AI work, especially in the university I work at.
