  • Driving from Kharkiv to Kostyantynivka via Izyum and Kramatorsk to deliver food and medical aid. Apologies a little tired after getting back so didn't add in a map and some other footage, which I will include in the next video, as I am making this Part 1.
The drive from Kharkiv takes about 3 hours and 30 minutes, around 225kms, slow in some parts owing to diversions and detours and the numerous checkpoints. The road down is surprisingly good most of the way. This was just myself and Max and the car full of aid. Once you cross into the Donetsk Region at the 150km mark and through a large checkpoint, it is a very different world. Mainly all military vehicles, lots of wrecks on the side of the road and in the fields, memorials and nearly all small villages and towns are destroyed or badly damaged.
Kostyantynivka is only 20kms from Bakhmut and 15kms from the frontline at Andriivka, so you need to be conscious of safety in these areas. This video is just the drive toward Izyum, a town that was occupied and was very badly damaged with nearly all buildings and houses suffering some form of destruction. Part 2 will cover entering Izyum and continuing down to Kostyantynivka.
I am proud to be an official volunteer in Ukraine and continue to support Ukraine with my mates Max and Neil, and a special group (PK) of souls who are now based out of Slovyansk.

My friend I am in Ukraine at the moment. I understand the security concerns completely. Trucks and convoys on roads are not secrets. Drones and satellites see all and both sides know which units and battalions are deployed where and what equipment they use. What everyone needs to protect is actual positions of equipment and unit locations, including checkpoints on roads. These I never film and also make sure others don't. Also the idiots who post videos on twitter and instagram etc straight after a Russian attack, which allows Russia to see if they have been successful or not. So what you see here is not giving anything away that is not already common knowledge by both sides. You can see very detailed unit and action videos daily on you tube that are far more detailed. So I appreciate your concern but this video does not give anything away that is not already known and these are normally released several weeks after filming. But thanks for comment.
