Love the Cando units in the snow. Now I feel like watching "Runaway Train "
Great shots Tony! I was actually just wondering what a drone shot of that bridge going over the North Saskatchewan would look like the other day, and sure enough, here comes Tony with the answer!
Than you, I actually have video of it from the other side during the summer. I can’t off the to- of my head remember the name of the video its in LOL
Oh sweet! I'll have to do some hunting! Always been fascinated by that spot, good amount of action it seems too!
Thank you for your reply
Well, that was great work Tony! What great view and perspectives! (Dave).
Your welcome Dave, back into some cold weather so unable to go out and film this weekend.
@@TonyVRailfanning Its snowy here today and cold this upcoming week.
Beautiful on White...
Great coverage Tony , looks cold
still love'n that new mic...pure train sound.... thx 👍
Good catches. First 3 eyed monster I’ve seen in your vids, sd 60. Good one.
Thanks Tony! another great, fascinating railfan video. More great drone coverage. Love those panoramic shots showing the surrounding countryside and geography. Learned a new term today but didn't get the pronunciation clearly -- 'adultpak' ? ... controls the train remotely. How do you spell that? Also, 'buffer car'. Just two days ago, i learned that term when i travelled on VIA RAIL from Smithers to Prince Rupert (great scenery along this line -- lkg fwd to your videos of that route next summer). VIA RAIL always (?) pulls a buffer car at the end. Your explanation was even more enlightening. Best wishes to you and all railfans.
Yes, so a belt pack is the control for the remote locomotive it’s on the waist of the conductor that you saw getting on the train at the beginning
who is Cando/? are they a private rail service company? Never heard of them till non.
They are a company that services industrial areas all across Canada. Basically they lease their equipment and staff to these industrial areas to move their cars around and get them ready to be picked up by the main railways companies. They have a large presence in the Edmonton area as well as Ontario and BC
Loose the music with all the songs having the same clicking beat
Another nice one! I like that foggy segment, Tony. I've gone out in foggy weather with lots of hoar frost on the trees. When the sun comes out it looks awesome.
Cando's units do indeed look good.
Cheers, Jack
Thanks Jack, yes we had a Sunday morning just a couple weeks ago that had the most hoar frost I’ve seen in years but I was unable to go railfanning that morning as sad as that is.
