UPDATE - For a very low budget Weapon setup for the Zenith/Ulti Build that will also outpace both Snipers, I've posted a video covering that here: ua-cam.com/video/38WjBgQ_Eww/v-deo.html There is one rather large mechanic I pretty much skipped over in the video which is the cryo mechanic. If you use your 1 or 2 you apply Cryo stacks and your ultimate pops a stack each shot and does a lot more damage, specifically it adds a flat 50% extra damage to the Weapon Damage portion of the ulti. I showcased this in the Swamp Walker kill and it's why I was able to kill it without aiming at weakpoints but I forgot to actually talk about the mechanic and why I used it in the first place. If you do use the ulti build in group content, this will help quite a bit with your damage output there. Sorry for missing this. Really comprehensive guide as usual. So far I've resisted catalyzing non-ulti characters cause it feels like a waste but being able to solo every boss (more comfy and forgiving compared to lepic and gley from the looks of it) convinced me. Not like we'd get an ulti Hailey for awhile anyway.
HEY, if you're reading this. Polar Night set effect works with Haileys first skill, and can upkeep 10 stacks if you're rng isn't awful. That's 17% weapon crit damage up almost 100% of the time unless you run out of mana with her 3 and 1 spam. So I'm not sure if Polar Night is better for group play vs Annihilation. But I thought it was interesting, because your 1 will increase all firearm damage by 50% on each stack and at the same time with the buff from polar night you'd get extra weapon crit damage on top of it, making use of your whole kit.
So many great tips you provided. She sounds like a must have, first character that makes me feel that way. But also makes feel like other builds for other characters are irrelevant too. Makes me wounder what kind of transcendent mods they have cooked up.
I was too far into lepic to give up. 7 catalysts now, think I'll stop since I can farm bosses now. As for Hailey, I'll get her eventually but not a priority for me, but she'll definitely take lepics spot eventually.
Hey, I first wanna start off by saying that I am a new subscriber to your channel. I appreciate the fact that you tested the damage numbers on PL vs AG sniper. Ive been seeing a lot of misinformation spread about the difference in damage between the two weapons in regards to Hailey. I also wanted to point out that some people have said that skill power is actually bugged for Hailey at the moment as it doesnt actually increase the damage of her ult. Ive tested this myself and this does in fact seem to be true. She actually could be doing even more damage than what she is doing at the moment.
@iNuKez4 not true but not sure where you heard. If you mean base skill power and colossus skill damage on reactor, they are also important but not as big of a difference as you saw on Lepic for instance. That may be what youre seeing. But skill power absolutely works on mods reactor etc
@@MeuiYT Sorry, I should have been a little more specific. I was referring to the descendant mods. If you socket in Chill Specialist for example and then remove it, you will see that the skill power portion of the ult shot doesnt change, whether you have a skill power mod on or not. Maybe im confusing the two damage numbers, but when I ran my tests, the skill power portion of the shot remained the same regardless of mods. The only increase i saw was from the weapon damage portion of her ult shot when i changed weapon damage mods. Im not sure if this problem is the same for reactors/component sets. Sorry for typing another paragraph. Appreciate it for responding to my original comment.
@@iNuKez4 You are looking at the weapon half. I tested this on live stream while changing around mods but tested it again this morning. Because the damage splits one half for weapon damage that number will be the same regardless of skill power. The weapon half also does not change regardless of reactor so something to keep in mind. For Gluttony, I did around 90 million to 100 million using the gunplay build. She has so much raw damage, it crazy but still unable to clear it. It only when a ult valby join I get a win. It always a Lepic and bunny joining the match spamming their skills. They need to add the fact that the boss is resistance to skill damage on boss menu or add a recommendation to what to use.
Build looks great! Hailey is so strong! Would love to see an Ajax build with secret garden! Feel like no one has a full build of it up that isn’t body enhancement
Another question: whats the equation for firearm crit hit rate for it to equal up to 99.63 % ? Do we add 40% from cold fury to 50% base on afterglow for 90% & then multiply that by the 10.7% = 9.63 then added to the 90% = 99.63%? My only question is why does it no longer count the 12.5% firearm crit hit rate that is usually the unique ability percentage on a commander/collosi?
Isn't there a new Ultimate weapon coming out on next update with her transcendent mods? I thought the new weapon coming out was a sniper rifle but I could be mistaken.
You should try testing out the Guardian R4 Launcher. It has *slightly* less base dmg than Piercing Light, but it has 50% crit chance (not that crit chance really matters for Hailey) and 2x crit dmg. The only downside is that the weak point dmg multiplier is only 1x. However, conflicting reports imply that Hailey's 4th is *not* affected by the equipped weapon's weak point stats. I cannot confirm or even begin to test this, as I do not have Hailey yet (like 99% of players). Piercing Light has 40% crit chance, 1.2x crit dmg, and 2x weak point dmg, with around 190k base dmg. Guardian R4 has 50% crit chance, 2x crit dmg, and 1x weak point dmg, with around 180k base dmg. Not including attacks on weak points, the Guardian R4 is a clear winner, but I wonder if it can be made to be a winner even with attacks on weak points. If no one else tests this out before I get Hailey, then I'll be certain to. But if I can convince someone else to test it sooner, that'd be great!
Hi Meui, im still kinda confused with the piercing light mods. So if we roll Critical hit rate on the piercing light weapon attribute, do we still need to slot in insight focus? If we do, which damage module are you referring to when you said we should drop in its place? Thanks!
awesome video, im a sniper main in most games that i play that call for it, so ive been stoked over hailey - gotta grind though. Main question - for cold fury… how long is the duration. I see it says max stacks 16 and its a stack every second, so at least 16 secs to get max & i see the ways in which stacks can decrease (ie: rolling/grappling) , but is it otherwise endless?
I have Hailey and an Afterglow Sword and a Piercing Light both at 0 copies. My question is, should I catalyze Hailey first or one of the snipers first? Which would give most bang for my buck while farming out the other one? Or I could I guess do both at the same time lol
I'd prioritise whatever you can roll with the 4 yellow mods you need. My Afterglow took only 32 roll tokens to get the 4 I need. My EL took maybe 400. My 1st PL is crafting now and I'm dreading trying to roll perfect mods on it
Don't think so. I messed around with it but the ability just feels clunky to use, doesn't go through terrain, and honestly doesn't hit that hard. So I will probably not be.
fyi, colossus damage on the weapon does not add damage done while using her 4. SolidFPS also made this discovery fairly recently going over his spread sheets. I've only noticed it while rolling my piercing light over and over while farming colossus comparing of when I have it on the weapon and not. - Also why not include the 1 into the damage rotation? I'm was under the impression that it gives an extra damage stack.
My question is... Other CCs have shown that PLs total damage is way over what AG can do and they have "numbers" to show this also. Why are there so many differing opinions on which sniper is better? I have both maxed but a slightly better reactor for AG so I'm concerned if I'm getting the best results.

Yoooo Meui, I’ve seen people using clairvoyance instead of the two sniper rifles. Is it for the weapon passive or does it ultimately not matter what gun is used cause all the kills look about the same regardless
I've been messing with the group/gun build as a general mob build, swapping out Shot Focus (also because i don't have it atm) with Focus on Chill and Tightrope with Nimble Fingers atm, two empty spots trying to figure out what i want there, but it's been good, will probably add shot focus once i can hopefully get it, and something else Any plans on an Ajax set up?
Mp collector or maybe mp regen+ might work, for mobbing so you can upkeep mana nonstop. I swapped out his Annihilation set for polar night as well for a more active playstyle since haileys abilities can proc the set effect and give her 17% more crit damage, it's only about .40 multiplier(enduring legacy), but you can press her 1 on a 3 sec cooldown while shooting and the cost is minimal if your build has skill cost reduction.

I just rolled a 12% rounds per magazine so glad i watched this video and decide not to reroll it, my rolls are gold crit dmg, gold magazine, gold col atk, and blue weap point damage, what should i swap weak pt dmg for
so I have gold rolls for chill/col and a purple for col/crit damage reactors. Which one would come out on top? Also why not iron defense instead of spear and shield?

Ok there is soemthing realy confusing me, whi would you need to fully build snipers like piercing light of afterglow but only need the rounds bonus for perforator ? Or is it simply because you consider IF you dont kill with skill 4 you then have a big sniper damage to continue doing regular damage, or does the bonus attack, weak points modules and all contribute to the skill 4 damage ? In theory it shouldnt, even tho hailey is slightly different she overall seems to work the same and that not that much modules seems to work once she use her special weapon
Bonus attack weakpoints etc makes the gun portion of the ultimate hit harder. But the skill portion does way more damage overall. With Perforator you get 3 more instances of both weapon and skill damage but the skill damage portion is the big reason why modding the gun doesnt really matter that much.
would chill enhancement on afterglow sword be better here than electric ? in ur later video u were using electric on sharen so since hailey is chill wouldnt chill be better here ?
He's probably using electric because it reduces enemy defense when electrocution is procced. Chill only adds extra damage, which is unfortunately also the weakest elemental damage on weapons against enemies because it only adds a slow effect but it also doesn't affect bosses 😂 factor in that sniper rifles have a 33% chance to proc a status effect, so your first shot has a good chance to reduce enemy defense, thereby increasing your damage further on following shots.
Sadly enough, I'm still 92 modules away from even building Hay-Hay... Hopefully, she's not getting nerfed before people manage to scrap enough of her parts without blowing 20 bucks in Shop.
@hadmos855 its the cryo mechanic. He uses railgun (applies cryo debuff to boss) then shoots with the ulti ehich will be 50% more damage on cryo stacks, thats why its hitting harder. I dont use the railgun on anything but swamp walker because it isnt necessary. Also Moxsy has a better reactor than I do atm.
Just buy it, why yall always complain. It's what, $20 roughly? That's like 1 hr of work with an average job. You're literally spending more time farming for something and wasting all that time instead of making real money to buy the things you could buy with money. If you think it's expensive or a waste of money, you should probably consider your financial situation instead of playing a game that requires many hours of investment, just saying.

@@February__It wouldn't because as he said, unique weapons (her 4) does not benefit from the ultimate weapon trait. Just the weapon stats, so the crit rate the weapon itself has without the trait.
@@February__ Well completely ignoring the fact you brought up the afterglow passive twice, it's not necessary to have rate on the roll per say but it does make the damage more consistent. I'm personally going for crit rate/dmg, firearm atk, and Colossus atk.
I might be confused but doesnt hailey already have 100% crit rate with her buff? And since you put skill insight on her, it wont be an additive on top of the already crit hit rate she has. So even if a boss is hit resistant, its still gonna do the same amount of crit hit rate with or without insight right?

You are looking at the weapon damage portion of the ulti damage not the skill portion. There is 2 damage numbers when you shoot her ultimate. One is your equipped weapon and one is your hailey mods such as skill power
@MeuiYT the highest number is the skill damage this seemed to not increase when I added it. Had a mess around today seeing if I can make it better somehow, it works for the 2nd ability but not the 4th.
Piercing Light's base attack is just WAAAY higher. Update: used both, both is good. Gonna stick to Glow because it unironically goes with the nun outfit on Hailey super well if you give it some gold accents, plus the cross logo on the back of the head matches the death propogation buff icon. It was meant to be 😂

Yeah but if you pop her 3rd skill at max stacks it times your skill crit rate by 9 so you don't need much extra crit to max out at 100%. You have to much extra crit rate Take some of the crit rate off and put on skill power.

That's why you always want to create groups to clear gluttony :)

Main question - for cold fury… how long is the duration. I see it says max stacks 16 and its a stack every second, so at least 16 secs to get max & i see the ways in which stacks can decrease (ie: rolling/grappling) , but is it otherwise endless?
It lasts as long as you can keep the ability activated, which drains your MP slowly

I'd prioritise whatever you can roll with the 4 yellow mods you need. My Afterglow took only 32 roll tokens to get the 4 I need. My EL took maybe 400. My 1st PL is crafting now and I'm dreading trying to roll perfect mods on it

Don't think so. I messed around with it but the ability just feels clunky to use, doesn't go through terrain, and honestly doesn't hit that hard. So I will probably not be.

fyi, colossus damage on the weapon does not add damage done while using her 4. SolidFPS also made this discovery fairly recently going over his spread sheets. I've only noticed it while rolling my piercing light over and over while farming colossus comparing of when I have it on the weapon and not. - Also why not include the 1 into the damage rotation? I'm was under the impression that it gives an extra damage stack.
The only thing I hate is putting in all the work and materials just that they drop and Ult Hailey on us love the builds tho

My question is... Other CCs have shown that PLs total damage is way over what AG can do and they have "numbers" to show this also. Why are there so many differing opinions on which sniper is better? I have both maxed but a slightly better reactor for AG so I'm concerned if I'm getting the best results.

Decimator is skill power modifier it would give basically 0 damage even if that did work

Yoooo Meui, I’ve seen people using clairvoyance instead of the two sniper rifles. Is it for the weapon passive or does it ultimately not matter what gun is used cause all the kills look about the same regardless
I've been messing with the group/gun build as a general mob build, swapping out Shot Focus (also because i don't have it atm) with Focus on Chill and Tightrope with Nimble Fingers atm,

Mp collector or maybe mp regen+ might work, for mobbing so you can upkeep mana nonstop. I swapped out his Annihilation set for polar night as well for a more active playstyle since haileys abilities can proc the set effect and give her 17% more crit damage, it's only about .40 multiplier(enduring legacy), but you can press her 1 on a 3 sec cooldown while shooting and the cost is minimal if your build has skill cost reduction.

Nope not a big deal for ulti build. More of a big deal for gun build but not 100% necessary. It's still strong without it.

Ok there is soemthing realy confusing me, whi would you need to fully build snipers like piercing light of afterglow but only need the rounds bonus for perforator ?
Or is it simply because you consider IF you dont kill with skill 4 you then have a big sniper damage to continue doing regular damage, or does the bonus attack, weak points modules and all contribute to the skill 4 damage ?
In theory it shouldnt, even tho hailey is slightly different she overall seems to work the same and that not that much modules seems to work once she use her special weapon
Bonus attack weakpoints etc makes the gun portion of the ultimate hit harder. But the skill portion does way more damage overall. With Perforator you get 3 more instances of both weapon and skill damage but the skill damage portion is the big reason why modding the gun doesnt really matter that much.

He's probably using electric because it reduces enemy defense when electrocution is procced. Chill only adds extra damage, which is unfortunately also the weakest elemental damage on weapons against enemies because it only adds a slow effect but it also doesn't affect bosses 😂 factor in that sniper rifles have a 33% chance to proc a status effect, so your first shot has a good chance to reduce enemy defense, thereby increasing your damage further on following shots.
Sadly enough, I'm still 92 modules away from even building Hay-Hay... Hopefully, she's not getting nerfed before people manage to scrap enough of her parts without blowing 20 bucks in Shop.

@hadmos855 full min max stats on both AG will win because of crits. On non crits PL we do more damage
@hadmos855 its the cryo mechanic. He uses railgun (applies cryo debuff to boss) then shoots with the ulti ehich will be 50% more damage on cryo stacks, thats why its hitting harder. I dont use the railgun on anything but swamp walker because it isnt necessary. Also Moxsy has a better reactor than I do atm.

The afterglow sword effect gives 22.5% critical hit rate when hitting enemy colossus/elite. Not sure how that factors into the sheet critical

@@February__ Well completely ignoring the fact you brought up the afterglow passive twice, it's not necessary to have rate on the roll per say but it does make the damage more consistent. I'm personally going for crit rate/dmg, firearm atk, and Colossus atk.

So even if a boss is hit resistant, its still gonna do the same amount of crit hit rate with or without insight right?

You are looking at the weapon damage portion of the ulti damage not the skill portion. There is 2 damage numbers when you shoot her ultimate. One is your equipped weapon and one is your hailey mods such as skill power
@MeuiYT the highest number is the skill damage this seemed to not increase when I added it. Had a mess around today seeing if I can make it better somehow, it works for the 2nd ability but not the 4th.

Update: used both, both is good. Gonna stick to Glow because it unironically goes with the nun outfit on Hailey super well if you give it some gold accents, plus the cross logo on the back of the head matches the death propogation buff icon. It was meant to be 😂

Yeah but if you pop her 3rd skill at max stacks it times your skill crit rate by 9 so you don't need much extra crit to max out at 100%. You have to much extra crit rate
Take some of the crit rate off and put on skill power.
