These are without doubt the best videos you have ever produced. In fact they are some of the most interesting videos I've watched on any UA-cam channel. Brilliant content and a lovely country.
I have seen many travel vlogs from foreign tourists in India because, when I look at my country through their eyes, I can feel the joy of seeing for the first time what I am so used to seeing that I often ignore and forget to appreciate it. But most of them fail to capture the real essence of India. Now understand why... They don't do it on a motorcycle. Because, my friend, this is the real way to explore India - on a motorcycle. Grateful for this video! Enjoy your time here.
I have traveled a lot around my country in different cars. But you can’t see anything from the car window. A month ago I bought a new ,,Royal Enfield Bullet 350,, 2024 year of manufacture. This is the most beautiful motorcycle in my life. Now it’s winter in Russia. My cold thermometer shows -23 degrees Celsius. But when summer comes, my wife and I will go to Lake Baikal. It’s 3000 kilometers from our home. I’m on a burgundy ,,Royal Enfield Bullet 350,, and my wife Zhenya is on a beige ,,Yamaha XT250 Serow,, . Greetings from Russia. The Far East. Yakutia.
@@MrDarcy-OlMan Sorry, I wrote it in Russian. Thank you, friend. I am 59 years old . My wife is 56 years old . I've worked on heavy truck tractors all my life. Now, in retirement , I 'm catching up with what I lacked in my youth . Life is just beginning ....
Big kudos to you both for no only some great filming, but also taking the time to do the editing and getting the film onto your channel. I haven't ben to India and have to say I'm full of envy - the countryside is beautiful, and the people you see seem genuinely happy to meet you. What a wonderful perspective you're giving us. Thanks
I have a new,,Royal Enfield Bullet 350,, 2024 year of manufacture . This is the most beautiful motorcycle in my life. Hello from Russia. The Far East . Yakutia . Guys, thanks for the good movie!
You fall in love with India especially riding an Enfield. You must try the Himalayas, that will blow your mind again . I have done maybe 12 trips there over the years . Loved it
I’m in agreement with the chorus. This is probably the best video you two have produced. I’ve watched it four times so far. In post trip you guys should do a sit down and talk about some of the backstories. I wanted to see the frontside of that huge statue. Super job on music selection and mixing
Love India! And yes the people are very friendly and engaging, I’ve had some really interesting and quite in-depth conversations with people at bus stops and in trains or just in the streets. The best thing about travelling is the people!
It might be because you're on bikes or the no hype presentation but , these are the most interesting travelogues I've seen. Could also be because you're showing us the real India and not just the usual tourist magnets.
You were talking about flip-flops at the start of the video. I visited Zimbabwe in 2004 (my wife is Zimbabwean) I bought sandals made from truck tyres, I still have them!
Ha, after I commented earlier about it not being an ADV sort of tour, then here you are on some double track in the back country. Beautiful sights out there, beautiful people. The people seem generally happier and more engaged in daily life because they're not buried in electronic garbage. Hardly anyone is seen poking at a phone or recording each other (apart from the English tourists, maybe). It's refreshing to see.
Your subscribers are now growing as they should and it is the fantastic quality and interesting content like this driving it. Well done, thoroughly deserved.
The land of 'smiles' I also found it to be the friendliest place i've been. Nice to see you have a clear love for the place when the time comes i'm sure you won't want to leave So much to see and do Loving the vids lads
You guys are truly exploring India I must say! Visiting only cities and tourist spots definitely creates a tunnel view. I love your videos, keep up the good work. We ,Indians, are very welcoming and hospitable, values and morals are deeply rooted in our culture and Hinduism. We live in harmony with people and nature.
I think I stayed in the same hotel in Badami as you. Great video. I have ridden in India for many years. I bought a 500 Bullet a few years back which my friend stores for me while I'm back in the UK. My next trip is coming up in January.
I think your positive vibes combined with rustic charm of backroads is the magic in your videos… it’s not easy & I am still learning how to be like this through all roads….
you guys knocked it outta the park with this one. At this rate I will likely be a really old man by the time I get down there so thank you for taking us along.
Those roads make it easy to understand the popularity of the 350 size bikes I watch all your videos and enjoy them very much. Please make close captions available for we geezers. Your accents and my hearing are a bit of a challenge. Thankyou for taking us along
Love It.Those India trip videos are amazing,I hope that is the beginning of new ones. You should make a journey around the world trying different bikes. By the way,is great that you show that these motorcycles can go off road.I know lots of people in Europe buying 20 k euros "adventures bikes" just to have a coffee around the corner.Less is more,we don't need much to enjoy riding.
Great work Mr D & OM! A perfect way to understand and appreciate the entire RE line design concepts and resulting functional shape. They are “classic” maybe because they are functionally correct and endure. Particularly, the other makers please notice the importance of useful mudguards and seats!! If a motorcycle will function well and survive there, it will function well and survive, period. Sustained 75 mph is sort of irrelevant! I think a KLR 650S might make a lot of sense in India as well the RE Himalayan 450 of course. However, a 185 HP GSA makes considerably less sense! No sense at all actually. Your channel is better and better.
Mr Darcy & The Ol' Man, lovely travelogue. I think this is one of the best videos you've made sofar. Big smile on my face all through the thread especially you guys shared so much love and warmth with village people which is so touching. Children are all over and welcoming you wholeheartedly is another lovely thing in this thread. But the best part is a lovely kid playing with Darcy's beard and I simply adore that moment. The best is yet to come with Badami's amazing architecture. Thanks for making me smile all through. You made my day. 😍
I will always stand by the saying that India is a country where polar opposites exist. If one thing is true about India then the opposite will also be true.
I've been watching you guys since your interceptor videos. Love your content. My grandmother was half british' and watching your rides at the countrysides are amazing. I hope you get to ride and review the Goan classic while you're here.

I have been watching your India videos for the past 3 weeks over and over again. I like how you have been travelling across Indian villages and showing how they live their livelihood. Absolutely beautiful riding in the forest. Also don't forget to travel across Kerala, Rajasthan and North-East of India. Keep those videos coming and keep travelling across India. Jai Hind !
On the lower back issue, I would absolutely recommend you to check out the chiropractors in one of the big cities in India. I pulled my lower back in the gym. After going through an MRI, a bunch of orthopaedicians who recommended medicine, exercises etc., nothing worked for me for 2 years. I then tried a chiro and more than 70% of the pain went away. I need another session or two.. this is as long as it's a muscle pain and not something to do with the spine.
I can see the sign boards in Kannada and you’re in my home state of Karnataka (One State Many Worlds). The Ginger beards are an outcome of applying Henna that acts as a natural hair dye.
There are both public and private schools. In the rural area you in, I suspect that these are all public schools. Some schools are not large enough for all the kids so they go in "shifts". Some kids may do a 7:00 to Noon and the other half (say) Noon to 5:00PM. That way all the kids can get schooling and the parent farmers still have help in the fields. Of course, not all kids go to school but it may explain why you saw them on the streets during school hours.
