A beautiful example of an episode. Today, Bread Boys are going to teach us about gambling which is a heavily controversial topic. Let's all take a deeper look into the episode and find the hidden meaning Bread Boys wanted to share with us. The episode starts with Son walking down the stairs while also mentioning the night he had, judging by the tone of his voice, the night was fairly pleasant, but I may be wrong. As he reaches the the bottom, he spots Uncle who is peacefully sitting on the couch, covered in blankets. Son greets his uncle, and the latter friendly waves his hand in response to his nephew. The heretic is understandably surprised by the mere presence of Uncle, commenting that he is "Out of walls now, apparently". Son turns around to see that cat videos are playing on TV, which Son doesn't find as surprising as Uncle's existence. Father shows up, telling his son that he has good news. Son isn't that happy to see his father though, and wonders why Father is walking in such an odd way. The crusader starts to throw the money on the floor, boasting about it. Son, however, doesn't share the enthusiasm and thinks that the bills are fake. Father is quick to disprove this hypothesis, telling his son that the money is very much indeed real. The heretic still doesn't believe his dad. Father says that he made a jackpot, that he hit big. Hearing that his father gambled, doesn't fill our protagonist with joy. But in contrast to Son's displeasure, Father takes pride in the fact that he gambled. Son redirects his anger to Uncle, demanding to turn off the music that started playing a few seconds ago. Uncle politely refuses to follow Son's request and points a gun at the heretic. This action quickly puts Son back in his place and with Father offering Son to go to the kitchen, our protagonist backs off and our duo leaves the living room. As Bread Boys reach their destination, Father once again starts bragging about the money he possesses and proclaiming how rich he is. Son adds in a comment, saying that they are rich. There is an awkward silence between the two until Father avoids Son's words by saying how glad he is about not giving up on his dreams of becoming the world's best gambler. Father then mentions the loans he has taken out which shocks Son and makes him want to know how much loans Father has taken out. Father replies by saying "More than I could count.". The crusader then proceeds to say how he is built different, how 99% of gamblers quit before they hit big, and that he is the 1% who never gives up. I have to say, Father's speech burst me into tears, the pure dedication Father has in his blood is astonishing. Father then says how others say that he is addicted to gambling, but in reality, gambling is addicted to Father and it is the crusader who can quit any time he wants. Huge respect for Father for never giving up. Son tries to see new opportunities and says that with all that money they can pay off the IRS now. We all know Father's opinion about giving money to the IRS and instead proposes Son to just move to a different country and tells his son to pack his bags. Father tells Son about a nice mansion he bought, which blows the heretic's mind off. The crusader doesn't know where the mansion is, but it doesn't matter to him, because the mansion is still the mansion. As Father once again sends Son to pack his bags, the protagonist tries to take the bills lying on the floor which Father doesn't take lightly. The next shot shows Son packing everything important (to him) while talking to himself about how they haven't even lived for a full year in this house and are already moving out. As Son is finished, he approaches his dad telling him that he is ready. Father replies rudely, saying that he doesn't speak broke. This short moment shows us the true extent of Father's ego he got from becoming this rich, or maybe the power of gambling only helped to expose Father's true nature. Whatever it might be, this short scene truly shows us that Fahter is indeed Walter White. Anyway, Son makes sure to tell his dad that they share this money, the crusader doesn't give a normal response, he only gives a short giggle. Then Father lists the two things that come with the commitment to gambling. The first thing is enjoying the sweet nicotine, saying that it is just a single puff and nothing beyond. Son asks if Father is sure about that and the crusader responds positively about it. The second thing is depression and as Father says "Money can fix neither of those". Father then stands up and says that he will be right now. The protagonist is confused about this, he thought that they would be moving out right at that moment. It later revealed that Father didn't pack his bags and instead was going to go buy a Ferrari. Son mentions Father's incompetence in driving. Father calls Son foolish, saying that the Italian mafia doesn't care and the only thing they want is to see that money. Son is still confused about the whole situation but lets Father go, the latter throws the money away as he walks away. Son is left alone in the kitchen, processing what just happened. Seven hours have passed and Son wonders where his dad might be. He checks his bag to make sure he has everything and during that, our beloved crusader comes back. Judging by his walk alone, we can say that something bad happened. Son greets his dad and says that he didn't hear the Ferarra pulling in. Father ignores those words as he sits at the table and slams his face on the wood. Son picks off that something is wrong and starts questioning Father if there is something wrong with the car. Father then makes eye contact with his son and tells the truth. He didn't go to buy the Ferrari, he went to the casino. Hearing that, Son gets disappointed by Father's actions. The crusader continues with his speech, saying that he lost. Our protagonist tries to be optimistic, asking how much money the crusader lost, hoping that there is still something left. Father tries to answer but gets interrupted mid-sentence by Son who now asks how much money Father initially won. The crusader quietly responds that initially, he had 1.2 billion. Son is stunned and asks again, wanting to make sure he heard that correctly. Father loudly answers again, saying that he had a billion, with the B. Son is understandably angry at his dad, Father tries to explain himself but doesn't get the chance because Son doesn't let him. The heretic starts lecturing his dad about the whole situation and after a short outburst, Father says that he can't just quit, which is ironic if we remember what Father said earlier. Son tries to give his dad a wake-up call, but Father being Father he says that 99% of gamblers quit before they hit big, ending the episode. It is a great episode as usual. It is nice to once again analyze the Bread Boys lore after a long time of not doing so. I would like to give huge respect to Father for not giving up on gambling. In gambling there is no such thing as losing, there is only winning and quitting. You might lose some money, but it doesn't mean you lose, it means you must continue to hit big. As one legend has said, "Never back down, never give up". As a fellow gambler myself, I want to say that gambling is epic. And Father, if you are reading this, I would like to invite you to gamble with me in Team Fortress 2 Mann Vs Machine for the golden frying pan. We both can become the best gamblers of all time.
“Depression *🤷♂️* money can’t fix niether of those,” Got me dead. The way he just accepts the fact that he will be depressed his entire life and winning from gambling is the only nanosecond where he won’t feel depressed is funny and even more depressing. Bro got peak comedy.
@leebaker1397 But on a serious note: if you have a maiden then you are rich. You fought off gambling addiction but you have a maiden now right😄❓ Father here lost his maiden AND his mind
I like how father has the power to manipulate the entire universe and could easily rig any casino game in his favor and yet he doesn’t. I guess the house always wins after all.
This is the most serious these two have ever been ..poor son you really see how tired he is of father's behaviour ...to think once father was a responsible anime fighting son correcting God fearing knight of Jerusalem...now THIS😢

There comes a point in every man's life where he must realize that he should have just bought a share in the casino's ownership. I think this was Father's time.

How did you comment 7 minutes ago if this was posted 3 minutes ago? Actually I realize that's a dumb question
How did you put a comment 7 minutes ago when the video came out 2 minutes ago. WIZARD!
As a Truckstop Employee, I can confirm that gambling addictions are not too far off from how father is reacting here.
I love the fact that they don’t pretend the fake money is real in the script, son outright calls them out as props 😂
At first, I figured they would be "Hillary-Three-Dollar-Bills." But after seeing Ben's face...
''99% of the gamblers quit before their big win''-Father 2023
3:05 son is so powerful that he doesn't even need a watch to know what time it is.
Father doesn't need a watch either. HE decides what time it is.
