I worked on this one for several months. Or rather, I didn't have the inspiration to continue, so I put it aside. Then I suddenly felt like editing again and I think I did well not to continue then, because the result would not have been what I would have liked. However, I'm proud of the current result. I'm proud because this is again a very deep and personal project. Somewhere it might be hopeful, but still dark and heavy as usual. I know it's not the prettiest, happiest present for a birhtday, but here it is, Max, and I really hope you'll like it! I also tried to use quotes that are only for you personally, my friend. For the beautiful heart and soul that you have. I hope you recognize some of these.
My friend, I wish you the BEST for your birthday and I want you to be the happiest on this day because today is about you.

This is by far the best edit I’ve ever seen! The whole video was fantastic but I especially adored the part when Red starts “Have you ever sailed across an ocean Donald? On a sailboat surrounded by sea with no land in sight, without even the possibility of sighting land for days to come. To stand at the helm of your destiny….” And then it follows with clips that align perfectly with what he says.
