This planet has seen many great drummers but few have the speed, accuracy and creativity this guy has. His playing looks effortless, like hes not even close to his limits.
I’m a multi-instrumentalist who’s been in a lot of bands and I’ve also seen a lot of certified legends perform live in my time: This guy impresses me as much, if not more, than anyone I’ve seen play any instrument ever. Power, speed, accuracy, independence, creativity, flare…what doesn’t he have??
He has reached a new stratosphere of talent with precision, skill, flair, style... it's inspiring but feels lightyears ahead of anything obtainable. Definitely one of my favorite internet finds.
I get that... but IMO it feels that way because he put so much time and effort into learning and honing those skills and techniques and for many of us that amount of time is impractical... but if it makes you practice your singles, doubles, or diddles just 10 mins longer than normal, he has had a positive impact... moreso than just providing the most entertaining drum vids around, that is, lol.
Wait wait wait…..at 57/58 seconds into this video he flipped a stick ends up playing with TWO in his right hand to double time the symbol, like what 😮🙆🏼♂️🤩
:55 seconds the extra stick enters the picture. Saw that... I didn't see the double time and thought he had dropped it. Incredible. And he does it again at 1:51.
The creativity the use of sticks techniques appearance ease of play unbelievable speed and accuracy. Not to mention his ability to completely separate every limb from each other in so many ways. He is completely reimagining, reinventing how people perceive drums, how they play drums and how to use the set. No one, and I mean no one has ever been able to use the drum set in a way that this man does.
@@dylanthomas9409 Hell yes, Danny Carey composes his pieces like no one else. I would have loved Siberiano when I was a younger metalhead. (Although this song sounds awesome and the techniques I've never seen before.)

After a while, you start to develop muscle memory on some sections and "sees" gaps in between segments of the song in which you could throw in a trick. I think the really exceptional thing about him is his incredible diligence. Yes, he's an incredible drummer, but he could do anything, it's his constant commitment to practice that is really amazing to me. Most people skip a day here or there, or constantly jump from one thing to the next. To have the maturity & self discipline to practice the way he does is really a lesson for all of us, no matter what you do. It shows hard work pays off, and if you really want it, you can get it.

He’s beating those drums like they beat every team they played that year! He’s just got it man, and just gets better with every video with the different combos he’s coming up with to get the almost impossible sound he gets from his kits. Love watching him, he’s on a different level.

People get bored and think that the possibilities have all been conquered. Those are not the true believers. Wherever you came from and whoever sent you, I lay praise at their feet and thank them with never ending blessings for sending you. It isn't just about music or music theory. It isn't even about instruments or what that instrument is capable of. It's the human mind and spirit that has endless capability not the vehicle you channel it through. It is up to us to believe in that and you have been chosen to deliver this message to those that choose to hear it. It's not about the drums it's the reinventing of the minds belief that I have no limitations.... thank you. You have shaken things up and awaken spirits that have been dormant. You have tremendous power to change lives my friend. You have changed mine. Thank you and keep up the life changing lessons and work we are blessed to receive.
I cannot get enough of this video! The speed, precision, flash and absolute skill he has is the best I've seen. Again thanks for covering this video and your appreciation. You asked if he inspires or makes you want to quit; he should inspire everyone who loves drums 🥁
He'd argue with you on the talent thing... He's just stubborn as a real goat and so he became "the" goat by practicing every.single.day.for.years. He'd say: "This is no talent. I just work my ass off each and every day just trying to be better at drumming than yesterday".
EES is an absolute legend. You are the only person doing a reaction video where you caught his extra stick usage. And he is a the Jordan of drums. EES is the GOAT
I just love watching him play. Said it before. A high powered mutant of mass destruction, never designed for mass production. Anyone hating on this dude does not practice hard enough. He’s done the hard work and it shows! Full respect!
*El Estepario Siberiano* is my current and all-time favorite drummer because he has a sense of rhythm, power and time combined with an uncommon sensitivity and an extraordinary imagination which leads him to be, as well as very good and very fast, very likeable in his virtuosity (which never hurts)!
As a drummer my former favorite was Danny Carey or buddy rich. But this guy is by far the best. Reinventing drums and making it popular and accessible. The GOAT
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but hes using dual snare drums, not a snare and floor tom. Im not sure if you were just generalising because of the positioning. Either way, the guy is an amazing drummer, and contesting travis barker for my favourite drummer.
Carter Beauford and Dennis Chambers were early heroes of mine. I gotta hand it to this guy tho, man. There’s just nobody like him. He’s definitely raised the bar in every facet of being a drummer. I’m far removed from playing, but he truly inspires me to get back into it.
This performance has been my favorite I love The Weeknd and for him to do a drum solo for it I love it even moreZ this dude is addicting to watch. Never seen anything like it. And your comment reinventing. Drumming I couldn’t stop laughing. I love your reviews you don’t stop and critique you critique very little and always in high praise . Thank you
My favorite drummer is Anderson .Paak, but he has different type of skillset - he can drum AND be a lead singer at the same time. Maybe watch his tiny desk concert, if you want :)
Wow... he's using third stick to alternate the hats from up and down with one hand. And he hits a snare rim and the second stick itself for this short complex rim shot. Is this normal drumer's arsenal? because I saw that for the first time. Anyway the precision and speed is unhuman.😵💫
Talent = millions of hours practice and then the individual creativity added. Practice is the most important part to get one into a sick level, creativity is adding your fingerprint and art. People always talk about talent, like some one just borns with it and away he goes with drums. Estepario is himself first to admit to crazy amount he has generally trained and also that he trains and retakes lot of these performances. The outcome is what we see and hear - GOAT of drumming!
He's his own breed... Dude, there's nothing to say. THis machine of a man, keeps perfect timing while switching that pedal single to double, those rims shots, single handed rolls. WTF MAN?!? You think you seen it all. And then he comes out with this. Look at him, he's not even 50% challenged playing this. Perfect 100% independence and timing, without fail. Revolting. I LOVE HIM. You're awesome Colby.
guys i think were all a witness to prob the best drummer ever found i have been a drummer not a pro but for fun for 35 years now and this guy does things i honestly did know was possible 30 years from now we can all look back and be man i rember when he started
My fav drummer will always be Joey Jordison and Travis Barker because they were the two drummers to grab my attention as a teen, but like you said you can't denied that right now El Estepario Siberiano's skill is way up there and is reinventing drumming.
He's absolutely amazing. Far and away one of the best in the world. I really enjoy his creative take on the tracks he chooses to cover. I'd really like to see him play a set for a band that usually runs synths & programs because I am sure the energy and force in a live environment would be really awesome.
El Estepario Siberiano and 66Samus are my favourite drummers, both offer so much to the collective drumming enthusiasts of UA-cam, and, indeed, the world. 66Samus is incredible and technically gifted (worked his butt off) and ESS is like the Art work in an exhibition that noone quite fully understands but are blown away by being exposed to.
Been watching quite a few vids from Estepario the last couple of days. This is my favourite, and I don't even like that song. Not per se the hardest stuff he's done, but it's so complete and innovative. The amount of variation he can get out of a fairly basic setup. It's staggering.
It's almost like watching a living breathing piece of art - he's like the Michelangelo of drumming. He's close to perfection. Utterly compelling viewing.
It's always a joy to watch a master ply his craft, and Estepario is indeed a master (at least from my most humble non-drummer point of view😂). He's amazing at what he does, and i'm happy that he's starting to get the attention he deserves for all of his hard work.
I just got my first drumkit to start learning at 37 years old thanks to El Estepario. Not only is he a generational talent, but the man is just so passionate and all around an awesome human being. Can't wait to learn that bounce stickflip thing from a tom or snare in about 30 years or so 😂 Thank you for an awesome reaction!
I SWEAR only someone that is informally trained innovates like this! I'm not shocked that he does not know how to read music! FREAKING AMAZING! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I took lessons from a studio drummer for 5 years and he tried to teach me how to read music but I deal with some heavy learning disabilities and struggled and thought I might have to give up but he taught me how to close my eyes take in what I wanted to play and work through it by sound and feel. I ain't got nothing on this animal but I can lay down some tasty beats and in almost perfect time.
The precision. He hits the snare on the same spot every freaking time. And he needs to, as his other hand would be hit otherwise. This was jaw dropping.
I honestly don't know if I should be mad or be happy. He is so far beyond the average drummer but his playing is electrifying. I can't stop watching this.
This dude is the best straight up the drums are part of him he is exceptional in he has become one with the drums bro and practice and drive make him the best I have a friend who has the ability to play like him he has to devote himself like he has amazing
0:26 that is THE sickest groove I’ve ever heard ever. I don’t even fuck with the weekend like that but have listened to this cover multiple times. That groove is just tooooooo dangerous
I think the most impressive thing with his playing is that while it is flashy as all hell and beyond, it is actually really well thought out to fit the music he's playing to. Just unbelievable how he goes all out the whole lenght of the song but can change dynamics in each part. Also that damn stick pull for the chorus (x2)... hhhhnnngh
The strangest thing that no one talks about is his big physical form, that has a lot to say when it comes to endurance and impact when it comes to drumming.
I've watched many of his (and yours) videos and his drumming here looks just about the most complicated and difficult of all - and he makes it look easy - WTH??
No comment would ever do this guy justice. I'll just say I can't stop watching him. He has literally broken the internet. The number of folks doing reaction vids of him is off the charts.
❤ the guy is so awesome he’s inspirational, I just can’t stop watching the guy he’s awesome. What makes it funnier if you’re expression when it does something all I can says is holy shit and then rewind the bloody thing, then watch it all over again. Just epic x
There's a reason they called Neil Peart (RIP) the Professor. He just kept getting better and embraced technology along the way. But Estepario is a whole new level of drumming even with the technology associated with his bass drum pedals, but I have to believe Neil would be blown away by what he can do. Anybody with a remote understanding of music and the drums have to be more than impressed with this guy, and it's all a result of dedication to relentless hard work
And I almost forgot, not only does he hit every single note, it's with accuracy, and has the cleanest sound, tightest, deepest sound. It's changing music as a whole, not just drums.
This planet has seen many great drummers but few have the speed, accuracy and creativity this guy has. His playing looks effortless, like hes not even close to his limits.

Estepario it’s the best❤
I cannot get enough of this video! The speed, precision, flash and absolute skill he has is the best I've seen. Again thanks for covering this video and your appreciation. You asked if he inspires or makes you want to quit; he should inspire everyone who loves drums 🥁
He is a generational talent with unrelenting, uncompromising drive. That’s hard to beat.
He'd argue with you on the talent thing... He's just stubborn as a real goat and so he became "the" goat by practicing every.single.day.for.years. He'd say: "This is no talent. I just work my ass off each and every day just trying to be better at drumming than yesterday".
Would love to hear him play Black Dog by Led Zeppelin
EES is an absolute legend. You are the only person doing a reaction video where you caught his extra stick usage. And he is a the Jordan of drums. EES is the GOAT
I'm not a drummer, I'm a guitarist BUT I can't stop watching he's drumming...it's just out of this world!
It's a beautiful future for drums and in turn ....music ! The drums lead the evolution of music ...always!! Bravo EL ESTEPARIO SIBERIANO !!!
Dudes a beast. Probably the best drummer on the planet
Did you see Dennis Chambers comments on Jorge... he was asked who's a drummer changing drumming... was a great response...
Never seen a more smooth drummer...EVER. He flows like a calm river.
Bro is not only insanely talented, and unique in style, he is a showman as well. And he can play loterally ANY genre. A true master.
For being self taught he’s seriously one of the best drummers I’ve ever seen!
I’m speechless every time I watch this guy. Absolutely astonishing! 🤘
guys i think were all a witness to prob the best drummer ever found i have been a drummer not a pro but for fun for 35 years now and this guy does things i honestly did know was possible 30 years from now we can all look back and be man i rember when he started
My fav drummer will always be Joey Jordison and Travis Barker because they were the two drummers to grab my attention as a teen, but like you said you can't denied that right now El Estepario Siberiano's skill is way up there and is reinventing drumming.
They are also his favorites
He's absolutely amazing. Far and away one of the best in the world. I really enjoy his creative take on the tracks he chooses to cover. I'd really like to see him play a set for a band that usually runs synths & programs because I am sure the energy and force in a live environment would be really awesome.
that slick palm hit is just so amazing
🤘🏻
Watch closer. He hits left stick with right to get a click sound as well.
There really are no words left to describe this man’s ability and creativity to play drums.
This bloke is 100% the best drummer on the planet hands down.
The lungs on this guy. I enjoy seeing disbelief on your face. I thought Sugarfoot Moffett was my favorite until I heard Estepario.
It's like he makes it sound better. This guy is awesome. Michael Jordan has nothing on this guy he's angelic level.
The way he adds his own style, to me it creates an entire new "original" version of each song.
And many better!! Like this one is just killer
He is the best drummer hands down. And I've seen drummers from every genre and thousands of groups.
This guy is ALL of my favorites drummers at once : Neil Peart, Bill Bruford, Allan White, Mike portnoy, Mike Mangini, Buddy Rich and many more.
I honestly don't know if I should be mad or be happy. He is so far beyond the average drummer but his playing is electrifying. I can't stop watching this.
i bet his mri scan lights up like a christmas tree.
This dude is the best straight up the drums are part of him he is exceptional in he has become one with the drums bro and practice and drive make him the best I have a friend who has the ability to play like him he has to devote himself like he has amazing
he makes songs even better than their original ... inventing greater versions of them
0:26 that is THE sickest groove I’ve ever heard ever. I don’t even fuck with the weekend like that but have listened to this cover multiple times. That groove is just tooooooo dangerous
What I love about his content is he always looks like he's having the best time just doing what he loves to do.
Hes worked his ass off. He deserves all the accolades. I hope he goes far. Started out with only a single pedal, now hes got a trip. Just awesome!
Everything he does is effortles..
He is the BEST
I think the most impressive thing with his playing is that while it is flashy as all hell and beyond, it is actually really well thought out to fit the music he's playing to. Just unbelievable how he goes all out the whole lenght of the song but can change dynamics in each part. Also that damn stick pull for the chorus (x2)... hhhhnnngh
The strangest thing that no one talks about is his big physical form, that has a lot to say when it comes to endurance and impact when it comes to drumming.
Peart is my favorite, and then he is next for me. He is pushing closer and closer to Peart everyday
Siberiano makes everything sound good with double bass on songs you wouldn't imagine it on.
I've watched many of his (and yours) videos and his drumming here looks just about the most complicated and difficult of all - and he makes it look easy - WTH??
He keeps everything so damn TIGHT! Not even an ounce of sloppy
El estepario Siberiano is out of this world.
I hope he will get all what he deserves.
Really astonishing.
My favorite drummer so far. Indeed, smooth with great showmanship. Greetings from South America.
No comment would ever do this guy justice. I'll just say I can't stop watching him. He has literally broken the internet. The number of folks doing reaction vids of him is off the charts.
no words can explain this just sheer brilliance, kieth moon was one of my favourites but this is on another level
I disagree. I think Michael Jordan is the El Estepario Siberiano of basketball.
Bang on.
Isn't the reason it's the other way around because Jordan was first and already famous before him?
@@axelkh0814it's called a joke 👍🤟
@@HonestBottom obviously
@@axelkh0814 indeed!
❤ the guy is so awesome he’s inspirational, I just can’t stop watching the guy he’s awesome. What makes it funnier if you’re expression when it does something all I can says is holy shit and then rewind the bloody thing, then watch it all over again. Just epic x
Cada día nos sorprende con algo nuevo. Just amazing.
I'm not even into drumming but this is the 8th time I've watched this video he's unreal
"The Michael Jordan of Drums"... totally agree!!!
I don't know if he is the best (I think he is) but his covers and your video reactions are my favorite UA-cam content right now.
Thanks! Good job!
Thank you 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Mike Portnoy is my favorite living drummer but El Estepario may be the best living drummer.
