is a burn a hazard category and if not what is its correct category
secondly what is the correct category of inhaling paint fumes when painting
Can you use the same hazard category twice for 2 separate hazards? For example, Work equipment and machinery - risk of injury caused by using the hot water boiler. And then Work equipment and machinery - risk of injury caused by misuse or malfunction of meat slicer.
Yes you can as these are both very different hazards. Be careful though, your hazards are not very well phrased. They sound more like risks than hazards. The hot water boiler is a hazard, and the blade on the meat slicer is the hazard. Misuse of malfunction of the slicer is a hazardous event which belongs in the HOW people might be harmed.

Could I put down racking under work machinery and equipment category. Collapse and fall on people.
Also, would i put down fallen objects whilst unloading with ft under working at heights.
My concern was that I would probably also mention this in my loading equoment hazard as well in what controls we have in place for category
Hse gov example is very basic. Would it pass.
I was actually confused about the hazard categories and hazard..
But is noise and vibration the same hazard categories...?
Hi. Is it okay to have 11 hazard categories and 11 hazards, they are all different
Hi, I’ve just failed mine because the examiner said I failed to identify 5 different hazard categories even though I identified 7 (to be safe)
They have counted WAH, slips trips and fall and movement of plant and people as 1 hazard category because they come from the same element.
Do you think I can appeal this?
@@LeanneSheff-j3p The examiner is in error. This has happened to our own students and we got it overturned in 24 hours by speaking to NEBOSH. Speak to your course provider and ask them to intervene on your behalf.
