That is a crap ton of snow....and you are the Snow Slayer! I have the 47" JD Quick Attach snowblower and it works great..... however, about to buy a blade for the lighter stuff. Snowblower puts a lot of snow in my face when the wind doesn't cooperate.
I will gladly accept and honor the Snow Slayer title! Haha. It's very nice to have both and have options! Certainly never pleasant when the wind is blowing everything back in your face.
For sure! My reasoning on not getting a cab is because when it’s 100°F in the summer, I think I’d die lol. When they have an option with heat and AC, I’m in!
Did you need 3 option hydraulic set up for this? Looking at a used JD 54inch 4 way blade but not sure if I need a 3rd option or it some how hooks up into the loader hydro block??
Sometimes multiple times per day. In all honesty, I use the blade 90% of the time. I tend to not consider the blower unless we have a considerable snow fall. The blade is extremely fast and efficient to use.
Beast mode engaged! This may have just earned you a "Neighbour of the year" award, clearing all that snow.
Haha, my neighbors have expressed their gratitude. It’s an awesome thing to help others and have fun at the same time.
For a small tractor, it’s a beast!!
Thanks Brian! I agree, for it’s size, it’s stout!

Listen to that beast growl!!
It’s mean and has an attitude! 😂
Need a Cab. Makes life alot better in those conditions.

Thing is an absolute beast
It really is! For it's size, it really handles deep snow well!

Nothing extra needed. It connects using the same hydraulic ports as the loader.
Nice
How often do you change from blower to blade

I would at least get a soft cab for that
I keep putting it off but I agree with you
Where did you get your rookie sticks
Lol. amzn.to/3ch9jah
Sounds like you're running it too hard. Nice machine, though.
I do run it hard but it’s a balance of running hard versus me being out in cold temps for long hours.
What blade is this!?
This is the very common John Deere 54 Blade.
