That's what I was noticing.. I had the same Issues..
In my observation, what the police and the union response to the situation is not reasonable and satisfactory. To me, it seems like they trying to douse the fire off at the earliest without doing what is needed.
First of all, the name of the pump is PCTC if I am not wrong.
Secondly, they found traces of water or other liquid being mix with the petrol for which we have paid for. This is called adulteration and so the immediate and only response should be - to close down and do the further testing by competent authority. If found adulterated, then necessary legal action should be initiated whether the other liquid comes while unloading or wherever. If at all the fuel is adulterated, then what happen to those who are filling their vehicle right in front of their nose!! (In the 2nd beaker tube as well, I still can see a lesser layer in the bottom of it)
Giving lame excuses and saying a mistakes - sweat, moisture, pipe etc... Why not happening elsewhere? Like seriously?
This will do no good for all of us the consumer. We need to start taking right action for the right things at the right time so this Khushi Khushi should slowly go away thereby giving us the better living and better future...
How come water has gone in the bike tank when the tank itself was empty....

@ashang lungleng well petrol does not mix well with water it's like mixing oil with water ,the oil floats above the water same way petrol floats above water and it jams the engine so if someone wants to adulterate petrol he has to mix kerosene as it goes well with petrol and is cheaper so I don't think someone would adulterate petrol with water and sell it right under their nose . For me the statement made by the union satisfy me .
@@deanambrose1865 So are you saying we should we let them sell all those stocks of BAD petrol in the pump to all our brothers and sisters - the consumers? By the time the test report comes back, all those stocks might be all sold off... And if found adulterated with water or any other, should the customers carry the burden of fixing the broken engine? Who knows someone may be filling the fuel to go for an EMERGENCY or IMPORTANT WORK, JOURNEY etc. Who will be held responsible if anything happens to the failure of their work? Just pay them their vehicle repair amount and done case? As you can see in the video many customers are still filling their vehicle UNKNOWINGLY!
My point is seal the pump immediately, call concern authority, check it and if found safe let them continue selling it. If found 'not safe' let appropriate legal action be initiated so that other pump owners will be more careful in the days to come. They can siphoned off all the stock fuel, do the necessary fixing and continue their business.
The president of the union is a good ORATOR but for me, I see him having least concern for the public - the CONSUMER!

The best way to stop receiving adulterated fuels is to perform the test before it enters the state, this apply to every truck entering Nagaland.

It is always mandatory to make a water layer at the bottom in oil tank to avoid leakage of oil. But if the water layer is thick ...there's a chance of mixing.

That's the reason that most of the car have problems. Why always want easy money? Why alteration? The normal profit isn't enough? This matter have to take stern action. This is too much.
Not only in dimapur but other districts are also doing the same many officials vehicle couldn't start after putting petrol or diesel from my district.

I use to put petrol from this petrol pump and from now on toh i would visiting der again to fill petrol in my car plus scooty and all customers should be smart like him cos we have the every right to voice out our right...we are paying the money and why should we allowed others to cheat us......Thank you NLTV gud job 👍 and plus that Bold person who stands for his customers right👏👏👏

Have changed oil filter 2 times in March & April. Got to do it again next week
1 Even if water has seeped into the pipe by mistake, it is still the station's fault. The station should ensure that that mistake doesn't happen.
2. Oil sticks above water. So, how can diluted oil be pumped out first? Their description was 'opor tey paani'. Opor tey kitiya bhi paani nathakibo. Niche tey thakibo.
3. Those who have filled their tanks recently should be reimbursed. Ascertaining the genuineness of the customers will be difficult but it should be done.

I don't know what it is down there to hold the petrol/diesel but i guess there might be lick down below as there have been rainfall in dmp for some past days.
Should have also asked if the tankers carrying them are inspected beforehand.

It should have been very effective if the technology could produce a portable testing device for fuel which ppl can carry around in a vehicle. Otherwise, fuel adulteration will go on and ppl will never even realize until defaulters caught in action.

In my knowledge this petrol pump is one of the oldest petrol pump in Dimapur and it running very successfully without any complaint, i am not supporting anyone but in my opinion they will not do such thing intentionally to get profit but if that is the case then it will be shocking.
I just wish i get lucky everytime i visit Nagaland ⛽
Every individual should carry one bottle each with them while filling fuel to check adulteration.
