- Payasam is an easy to make recipe that can be prepared for special occasions, festivals and parties. Cornflakes Payasam is a super delicious version of the south Indian recipe and is cooked using cornflakes, milk, sugar, condensed milk cardamom powder, saffron and fried raisins and cashew nuts. This Payasam is tasty and simple to prepare.
Ingredients
Cornflakes 1 cup
Milk 1 1/2 cup
Sugar 3/4 cup
Condensed milk 1/4 cup
Saffron milk
Cashew nuts
Raisins
Sunflower oil for deep fry
Cardamom powder
Method
1. Deep fry corn flakes in hot oil
2. Keep it aside and let it cool for sometime
3. Boil milk
4. After boiling add fried corn flakes
5. Stir well
6. Add sugar, saffron milk, cardamom
Powder
7. Boil 10 minutes in low flame
8. Add condensed milk
9. Finally add fried nuts and raisins
10. Mix well and ready to serve
