I actually have never stolen anything from a shop. I ones by accident took out a bag of candy I did not pay for, I forgot I had it after shopping for my mom. when I noticed my mistake I went back and paid for it. even though I got away with it. My conscience would not allow me to just keep it without paying.

In hindsight.......the tesla owner could have easily gone to a third party vendor and replaced his batter for under $5000. Nope. Tesla doesn't sell parts to third party and there's no one that makes batteries for them. They're the apple of the car world where you either do it through them or you deal with it.
