Any tips on opening up one for the first time? I hear it's tough to break the seal the first time and that's most likely to cause damage to the screen.
Replaced battery but now touch screen not fully working in middle of screen, back button not working and although it's saying connected to wifi it wont go on internet - any ideas what's wrong?

You could root it and upgrade if you can find the software. It's usually a buggy option and not worth it

Plastic tools and take your time.
Do you have a link for the tool? Looks like steel. Seems sturdy.
Search for metal spudger on eBay you should find one
