My TV says TV guide info not found for this channel make sure you have installed EPG on the home screen and nothing is showing the guide is showing but no TV.

Legend! I was so happy to find this solution as I'd been trying for hours to fix this... even called Samsung and they couldn't help. Many thanks for posting this.
With the newer samsung tvs all you have to do is make sure the tv is on then unplug it from the wall. Wait about 60 seconds then plug it back in. This will cause the tv to do a soft reset where nothing is deleted. It worked on my new 55" tv so now I can see what is on before switching channels.
You just saved me HOURS of misery on the phone with Verizon. And probably money spent on a replacement. I already called today and spent 10 mins bouncing around their menus to then be put on hold for another 5. I have already troubleshot for hours, too. I don't even have a Samsung TV and this still worked. Turns out some kind of TV firmware update that happened a few weeks ago just crossed wires with the set top box. Unplugged the TV for a few mins, plugged back in and instantly back. THANK YOU!
Hi, My SONY Bravia keep getting this popup message everytime I press BBC1 channel 1. The message reads 'This event is available in HD on service 101. Do you want to change to HD event? YES or NO' . HOW do you clear this POPUP from appearing on channel 1?
