I wasn't finished making my statement. We have lived here now more than 20 year's and I have never been so disappointed. The city of San Antonio should be ashamed of them shelves. Please make it beautiful once more.
Why they say the River Walk was built in "late 60's" I don't know, because it definitely was there in October 1966. I know because I was there weekly from September '66 to last Sunday before Christmas of that year. Very memorable time in my life. I also remember the Christmas lights. The River Walk did not look new at that time either, it looked as if it had been there for a while. Granted, it does look different but it WAS there in 1966.
It once was a beautiful site too see, but the river is not kept clean at all and it smells like a sewer all through the year. The first time I saw the River Walk when I was a teenager the water was so clear and they ducks and swans swimming. I thought how beautiful but not anymore and why it has not been maintained like this is beyond Me. I have now been living in San Antonio
Unsubscribed. Please redo! Why can't we just enjoy the Riverwalk? Why bring culture in? Mention that the Luminarias come from the Spanish-Mexican folks. Please do your research on the years that that the Riverwalk was built. Talk to someone who is informed. How embarrassing. Non natives! Maybe Nelson Wolfe could help..
River walk was designed in the 30’s. I love your show and SA is not the Same without the Paseo Del Rio!!! Keep up the good work
Best narriation ever.
