Enjoyed the video. Your interviews are a great idea. I realize it is a lot of work but you have provided yarn lovers with access to yarn dyers, pattern designers, retail outlets, etc., etc. It is truly amazing what you two girls do. Take Nicole's advice and keep a pace that is healthy for 'you'. We don't want any 'burn-out'. Looking forward to Jodi's tutorial. Take care.
There was a lot of promotion of product in this maker spotlight, which I get, but it's much more interesting as an outside of Canada viewer to hear about a makers creative process and more about maker creative development ...like the other maker spotlights. I don't recall so much product on promotion with the previous makers. I ended up skipping. But I realise people in N America want this. But how makers make what they make, is much more interesting for me,
I agree. Skipped this makers and went straight to the show. Enjoyed the previous two much more. Location doesn't make a difference. I live in nyc and appreciated the first two more. This one was like a commercial.
@@k.leetalon742 Oh that's good to hear, I thought maybe it was just me. I don't mind a bit of promotion. But when it's too much, it becomes a bit like a shopping channel, not so much about creative process and ideas...or knitting.
@@megkelseyorian Yes...and their inspiration...turning an idea into colour on a skein, is an incredible talent. They look beautiful, but do the makers have a vision of how they see their work being used. There's so many questions about their art form I'd like to ask!!
We can’t take this moments with our kids for granted. Love those little traditions!!! My son used to ask me if I needed gas in the mornings. Our thing was he would get a donut when I got gas before school! Loved the podcast today. Hue Loco is so inspiring. I’m a fairly new dyer and trying to make my mark.
Thanks so much for the podcast, love the new "makers spotlight" and conversations. I learn something every podcast; both of you are wonderful to hang out with and I can't even begin to tell you how much inspiration I gain, let alone the new yarns, patterns and dyers I have discovered from this show. It is one of the highlights of my week!
i guess Im asking the wrong place but does anybody know a trick to get back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the account password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me
@Yusuf Noah thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm trying it out atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I love your podcasts and am really enjoying the makers' spotlight. I love that Jodi and Tracie are shopping whilst Nicole is showing her work. Just like I was......
My name is Anita - wish I was 60. About to be 75. Converted a Ford transit van in 2019 to travel. Covid19 slowed me down. Luckily I live in SC so the weather is better for van life.
Glad to see Nicole. I didn’t know about High Country Wool. 🥰. I am using 2 Hue Loco mini sets in my Battenberg blanket. Right now it is in hibernation so I can work on other things. You ladies rock.
I really enjoyed the segment with Nicole. As I love chickens, I'll definitely be looking to purchase a few of her sock kits inspired by poultry around the world :)
Saturday night with my friends 💛. I am loving the Maker spotlight. I wanted to get Nicole’s February set, but couldn’t find it 😢. So perfect for me as My birthday #78 was the 21st! Just realized I’ll never have a Golden birthday 😢. When did at start? I never heard of it when I was growing up...but 21 on the 21st should have been special 🤔. ...too long ago to remember 😏. So much great yarn, patterns, etc. I enjoyed everything. Thanks 😊
I love both of the sweaters you gals are wearing! Beautiful. Tracy! Of course you can do another sweater! Lol! Of course Hubby will have to make more room for you to store.😊💜 your sweaters
Hi, thank you for the makers spotlight. I like all your regular episodes too. Just saw this in my feed: Emmanuel Acho will host 'The Bachelor: After the Final Rose Special,' replacing Chris Harrison
I loved the podcast . I like your maker’s spotlight. I think Sweater Freak would make a great gust. She has so many great and innovating designs. Plus she is Canadian. Thanks for your effort to spot light makers!
I can not believe I missed y’all !!🤦♀️🤦♀️. I just got my first COVID shot and will go back March 11 for no.2 . In the US it seems if a Dr.s office recommends or asks if you want it ,you can say yes or no. I go to a blood dr. ‘s office (and they are also for cancer patients) and they got the shots !!
Have you watched my husband and I podcast called Meditative Crafting here on UA-cam?? (different than my username). Great episode ladies. I look forward to seeing you again next week! :)
Is the neon green highlight outlining the box of the speaking person just on my iPad or is it something you ladies control? I love tuning in, but can’t watch anymore with the flashing neon light around the box. When you are bantering back and forth the light goes with it. So, sorry to miss out. I don’t have this on any other I watch. Miss watching.
That is Zoom making the green box. It does that to emphasize who is talking. I don’t think they can turn it off. I’m so sorry it bothers you! I can be sensitive to strobing too! I know they would turn it off if they could.
Wonderful Visit . Thank you so much ! You two are just fabulous ! XO XO marcia
Excellent show this week. Love the makers corner interview.
Love Nicole! ❤️ Thanks for having her!

Loved all the yarn! So fun to hear from Nicole too! ❤️😍
Jodi, you look busy with that giant pile of tote bags behind you. I sure enjoy hanging out and knitting with you two.
Loved this one reminded me about how much I like her colors...

Hi. I didn’t know about High Country Wool. Always a great episode!
Thx for making the sock sack! Big bonus to have the zipper.
Jodie I NEED several of those sock bags!!!

Are you going to be selling the yarn for the two hat patterns?

The lag between Zoom and UA-cam should be 30 seconds. The trick seems to be that the host posts a comment first,
Patty Lyons usually types into chat and asks if anyone is there...and it turns on the chat.
Can I order October now?
Why do they have so many dislikes?
