The recorder on my Huawei Android phone creates .m4a files. I used to convert these externally to Audacity, but with your video, I can read them straight into Audacity. Great help! Thanks a lot!
helpful tip for future vids, if you're making a 'how to' for a program, you can rest assured the majority has said program installed or there would be no reason to watch the video.
Excellent explanation. Very patient, very detailed, keep it up! I installed them into the default directories, and Audacity 2.1.2 picked up on the locations straight away, no need to browse or restart. Thanks!
Brilliant! I'm not super techy and I'm just learning basic editing, so when I got the message from Audacity telling me I had to convert to WAV, I was a little frustrated...until I found this! Thanks so much.
Great, clear, straight to the point! I have zero experience with this software and plan to use it to sync my external audio to my action cam footage. This helped me out a LOT!!! Thank you very much!
thank you lots. Seeing it done made it much easier. Also your video was very straightforward without much in the way of digression, pause interjection, or other time wasting or confusing flow-breaking interruptions.
thanks a lot, been reading things about this. I noticed my version is outdated that it doesn't have any option to add a FFmpeg thing. haha.thank you. because of you video, I was able to see it. more powers XD
Hi, it's me again. I changed my computer. Installed audacity and searched for a m4a plugin for audacity. Then I came to this video, I recognize this nice voice of yours then see there's a comment from me a year ago. Holy shit, so I've already done that before?! hahaha. Anyway, thanks again for the voice.. I mean, video
+Marcus Casagrande I did exactly the same thing couple of days ago. Found this vid re: splitting tracks on audacity. Thought, this isn't quite what I'm looking for, wonder if someone has posted a useful link. Found a comment from me! 6 months ago! Saying, this isn't quite what I'm looking for, here's a link to something that IS what I'm looking for! I nearly fell off my chair. Thanks past me!
+gwendoline watson Still talking about coincidence: HOLY !@#$, you look A LOT like my ex gf O.o I even looked at your fb profile to be sure. (Don't worry, I'm not a stalker and I live countries away from you lol)
