- मोहित के पापा को घर के सामने वाले पोल पर लाइट लगानी है जिसके लिए पोल की हाइट का तार मांगनी पड़ेगी। उनके पास एक मेज़रिंग टेप तो है, लेकिन उसे भी खंभे के ऊपर से लटकाना पड़ेगा। और पोल इतना मजबूत नहीं लगता कि इसपर कोई चढ़ सके। और पोल पर चढ़ नहीं सकते, क्योंकि वो इतना मजबूत नहीं है। अब बिना चढ़े पोल की हाइट कैसे नापे?

Just measure the shadow of the pole when your shadow is same as your height. Very easy and simple. Dirty or impure water changes the angle of reflection. It will not work precisely. Far better method is measuring sun causing shadow of pole and at the same time measuring shadow of a foot scale made to stand besides the pole. Now we have two shadow lengths, known height of scale. Simply find out the ratio of scale's shadow to its height. Apply same ratio to pole's shadow length to find out its height. SIMPLE.😊

If I was Mohit I will take a small stick and walk back from the poll untill both the end base and top of stick cover the poll. Than I rotate the stick 90 degree while pivoting on the base mark the location on ground and measures the distance from mark to poll base

These things sounds logical and good in books but in real life we can't apply it because lot lot of other factors disrupt accuracy
I would have thrown a stone up at similar distance of pole and start the stopwatch when I thrown the stone up. I would stop when the stone reaches the ground. Using this data I think I would be able to calculate the height
