We took Cason Wallace after trading with Dallas wh took Lively that everyone wanted us to take. Cason is a prolific shooter and guards like Dort. Just shut down Kyrie 3/4 games. Take the best talent, not best player available for the position you need

Parrish is high or something. In a weaker draft, lottery teams are more inclined to draft players with more upside and let them develop. Reed is a late lottery/middle of the draft player.

And as a Thunder fan I wanna thank the Rockets for giving us a lottery pick this year. We in the second round and have another draft pick waiting for us like the 4 we got waiting for us next year and the 3 the year after that and the 5 after that then the 2. We are truly blessed

Sarr had a lot of buzz from those Ignite games but did anyone actually watch all his Wildcats games?? He’s not close to a no.1 pick.
He’s an 18 year old that’s been playing with grown men for years. Yeah he don’t look like a #1 pick to you because he only plays an average of 18 minutes a game, but to an NBA gm he is a clear #1
I agree. He could potentially be another Bol Bol. That kind of stuff looks good to fans and on highlights but doesn’t win games.
Because he plays 18 minutes a game look at his per 36 numbers 20.3 points 9,2 rebounds 1 steal and 2,8 Blocks per game. I think he will easily average 15 points 10 rebounds as a rookie with 2 blocks a game.

How do they get Flag when Spurs have their 2025 2027 unprotected 1st round pick. Spurs also have the right to swap 2026 1st round picks with Hawks.

I agree, Reed Shepard is an awesome player. However number 2 is too high for him. Probably top 10
I'm not a Wizards fan but to play devil's advocate: if Sheppard comes in and is one of the better 3-D guards they have two premier 3-D guys between him and Deni Avidja. If he also debuts as half the playmaker Tyus Jones is that's a genuinely impactful player when it comes to winning games ahead of schedule.
In this draft class he is probably in that range the Spurs should pick at 4th.
The Pistons are definitely taking Matas if he's still there. He fills in more of a need plus his agent is a Tellem which means a ton for the guys we go after, lol.

I think what you are going to see is a lot of movement on the 2 days of the draft! There are too many teams that are pick deficient for the foreseeable future and need to start acquiring picks now. Also there are teams that are going to trade down to acquire more picks in this draft because this draft is going to be about mostly building out your bench if you are contending to them also taking swings on players. I also see the top 4 in the draft not being the same top 4 after the picks are made! We are going to be in for some shocking draft and I all for it.
I will be coming back to this statement to see if I was right or wrong with my comment!

NBA Lottery sucks not fair to the bad teams trying to get better.
They also punish their teams by losing 29 straight games. No team is that bad. They intentionally lost most games. That's how you get punished for stealing fans' money. If you make your games $5 then we'll let it slide. Detroit has probably had draft pick every year for the last 5 or so years. How are they not better? OKC tanked exactly 2yrs and look where we are. And have 30 odd picks to draft or trade for anyone we want. Detroit doesn't deserve pity, just fire your GM for the lack of competence and lack of eye for talent

An idea that I came up with years ago to completely remove tanking from the NBA is to replace the lottery with a single elimination tourney containing all the non playoff teams. Winner gets the #1 pick! That would be sick!
