Honestly I’m kinda surprised Davante stuck it out THIS long. Dealt with the Josh McDaniels nightmare alone, but then still gave Antonio Pierce the chance to fix things. Lowkey a good deal of patience on his part
Yeah I think Pierce being a solid coach kept him around...the Raiders are looking better but they're still building, they need the picks. The Steelers are very much in play here having been close to trading for Aiyuk.
@@rohanshah7559Adams simply tried 🤷🏽♂️ he shown the effort before and was indeed patient. He wants to win. I don’t blame him. Him and Carr reunion with their Fresno State WR coach at the saints reunion is perfect.
Saints fan, am telling you now for a fact we're not getting him. Even though we have the picks to give away (and we love giving away picks) we simply dont have the cap space for him. 2.7 million is all we have and even with his restructure its gonna be 4 at the miinimum
Huh? I thought most players were against the extra games and the only reason they agreed to the collective bargaining agreement was that they are getting a larger share of league revenue, higher minimum salary and expanded playoffs mean more bonuses for more players. I don't think any players were in favor of 17 games on principle.
I ❤ all the Al Davis would rollover in his grave talk, yet he let Marcus Allen go to his rival in KC and Marcus kicked the 💩 out of them for a while. 😂😂😂
I'm not sure about swapping him for Aiyuk. Maybe if Aiyuk continues to disappoint and Adams remains available leading to the trade deadline. I still hope that Aiyuk starts getting back into rhythm, though. It's an interesting option. I think Saints make the most sense due to Carr's presence making it amenable to Adams and it's outside of the conference.
This dude is just like Stephon diggs, he's Lowkey a diva lol yeah he's good but when he doesn't get his way, he basically makes the whole team feel it. Hell get traded and the world will move on like any other day
Davante to saints feels like the top option. Him, Olave, Shaheed, and Kamara as the weapons for Derek Carr. The saints honestly probably need to do that much if they wanna keep up with the Bucs and Falcons
Davante Adams is a crying baby! He will never be satisfied! He is really a lady lol. I hope he and the team that takes him in get exactly what they ask for. A crying Baby that stomps his feet like a toddler! What distraction for a team LOL
@@tightbhole420 You mean the poverty roster of the poverty franchise Adams freely signed an extension with just two years ago, fully knowing that franchise's long history of issues? Yes, because of that. Adams isn't 23 anymore - he's pushing 32. He is a known quantity, his value is set. He might hang on longer than expected, but he's not going to suddenly explode into something better than he is; in fact statistically he's starting the downward arc of his career. But he is asking to be treated as if his best years are still ahead of him, when they very very likely are past him. Adams is going to condition this trade on an extension, at inflation-adjusted 27-year-old WR money of course, with another out-clause allowing him to bail if he doesn't effectively get to decide who the quarterback is. In other words he's going to want more in money and contract rights than justifies the effort and headache of keeping all those balls in the air or the result he is likely to bring. And he's going to want this based on _past_ results, things he did for some other team that are over and done with now. The only sound reason a sensible football GM makes that deal is if Adams brings you a Super Bowl before he loses a step, which essentially means _this season or 2025._ Adams, who never even appeared in a Super Bowl in his prime, with one of the greatest quarterbacks who has ever played throwing to him, simply cannot promise that kind of return. And after he fails to deliver you are going to be begging him to bail, because his extension is going to tie up all kinds of cap space that you could have spent on younger players whose primes are ahead of them and will actually help you. Adams is still a talented player in 2024. But the nature of markets is that all commodities are stretched to the limit of their value and reach a point where they are no longer worth additional marginal value - and they reach this point before the utility of the commodity itself is fully exhausted. Davante Adams has reached that point in his career where he no longer promises a higher net return. He's got time left as a _player,_ but as a player _investment_ on a team balance sheet, Adams' career is essentially over. You are thinking like the typical emotional sports fan, thinking this is about justifying what Adams wants and his reason for wanting it. But what Adams wants is barely relevant at this point. All that matters is what on-field value he brings compared to the overall cost and effort he imposes. And that balance no longer favors Adams. Literally. Not. Worth. The trouble. Anymore.
@@powtmow A lot of teams either don't have need @ WR or couldn't use him due to poor QB play. Chiefs certainly need him, but the Raiders would never. Ravens may be interested. Jets could trade something just to get him with Rogers or Saints, but this isn't recess. Can't alway hang out with your buddies.
Davante wanted to play with Derek Carr. Just a year later, Carr departed for the saints. Even a casual would've seen this coming.

Kay Adams, Adam Schefter, and Davante Adams all featured in the same four minute video. This really got my head spinning 😂
And not mentioned is one of them has Gomez Addams for an agent.
Should've stayed in GB
GO PACK GO BAY BAY
More than anything in this video, I'm shocked you're 32. You sound a lot younger than you are to me lol
Bro said absolutely nothing about the jets
Crazy that I just discovered Davante Adams is 6 days older than me.
Inside source says he’s going to the Buffalo Bills.
My fantasy begs for it.

Any chance the Jets pull the trigger? Anywhere but Kansas City please!
@Scaperoot79 I’m pretty sure the Raiders have no intention of trading Davante to a divisional rival.
Of all the diva WRs he is my fave
Jacksonville could make a move and try to get a new toy for Trevor Lawrence although I hope this doesn’t happen as a colts fan
Davante Adams doesn't like playing 17 away games a season. Can you blame him?

He’s referring to the fact that Raiders home games are always full of the opposing team’s fans. Hence the full schedule of away games lol
@@into_play3226 Wow I'm an idiot. I completely missed the word "away" in his post. I just read it as Adams doesn't like playing 17 games. derp
Ha. He wishes he stayed with Rodgers now 😂😂
I could see him well in NO...
Waaaaaayyyyyy to much money 💰 for his talent Raiders need way more than an aging receiver 😮
Washington is the ideal spot

If the 49ers are smart they do this. The window is closed. Maybe this will open it a smidge
What the 49ers don’t need is another receiver. They already overpaid Aiyuk adding another receiver is not a good idea.
Eck! I knew your voice sounded familiar but I had no idea it was you! Been watching your hockey videos since you started. Glad you’re branching out!
dude i was exactly thinking that, just had no evidence
They could absolutely rob the Cheifs for picks. Which I hope they do
🐔 💩 don't want to go back to the green and gold huh. Fine better off without him.

He sounds like more trouble than he's worth.
because he wont suffer in silence on a poverty roster in a poverty franchise? 😂
