Had just moved to Denver from a small town in Kansas and had never heard anything like this before. I was obsessed. Was always begging the DJ’s to bump it in the dance clubs. Banger! And sexy.
Celebrità was one of top disco clubs in northern Italy featuring swimming pools, a huge 1000 people main hall, a top- notch audio system fuelled by world class DJs. I still remember a Friday night in October 1990: weather outside was cold but when the DJ mixed in this jewel the dancefloor went totally crazy, people started to take out their shirts while shouting _Don't you love me?_ Without a doubt one of the best disco songs ever.
Have always loved this song. Remember when it came out around 1990. Less than a year ago I had a biopsy saying that I had a melanoma tumor of 7 mm. With a tumor that size, odds are that the cancer is elsewhere in my body. I thought that I was near death. Two weeks later found out the biopsy had a typo, the tumor was only .78 mm. Now this was all melanoma. When my surgeon removed the tumor, it was 4.1 mm. Still big. But my nodes were clean and a CAT scan came back as cancer free. Fortunately, the cancer was localized. Once removed it was gone. Watched this video you posted during the time that I thought that I was going to die. Now, am watching it a year later, now being cancer free. Words cannot describe my joy being able to watch this video now, when I feared that my time here was short. Thank you for posting it. Not only does this video bring back happy memories from 25+ years ago,, but makes me remember where I was a year ago and where I am now. God Bless you and Take Care. Show less REPLY
This song transports me when I was coming out to my family and friends. Danced to this song at a gay bar wishing the night would last a little longer. Thanks for this wonderful melody
I love this song. This brings back memories of the summer of 1990 when I was partying in Blackpool!!! This contains a vocal sample from Jodie Watley's 1987 hit "Don't You Want Me".
This was my favorite disco hit in 1990 when we were having a js ball prom night! i miss this sound. thanx 4 uploading. still my favorite 'till today. can't help shakin' my ass with this song! ;-)
anthony graves Same here 90s rile. Shows wredtling. Singers like Selena n Los Temerstios. Nicer clothes. Better rappers and pop music like Enrique iglesias and MJ. Better boxers better videogames. Better Basket ball the best ever like Mj num 23 better cuter sexier girls n Actrisez and Long Live 90210 Luke. Long live the best show ever. better music.
Lee Marrow, Capella, Kon Kan, Black Box... e tantos outros cometas. Simplesmente vou às lágrimas.
So the woman in the video is the same "singer" who was crushed when they didn't use her vocals for "Touch Me" (Peter Pan Is A Man). She was so crushed she did it again with Jody Watley's voice.
I wish that they interviewed and did editorials of all of these beautiful talented black women singers from the 90s instead of just using them as session singers then discarding them. So under celebrated. It's like people love black womens voices, style but they dont love black women.
These tracks were produced with a capella voices, often without permission, so most of the time singers never entered the studio at all. Italo house is a phenomena unlike anything else in dance music which was never explored in detail by anyone to this day. 99% of people have no idea in what crazy process this songs were created. The creativity of producers from that time is unmatched to this day.
The first voice you hear is a sample from Jody Watley's "Don't You Want Me", as you can hear here: ua-cam.com/video/fL7Za5waqls/v-deo.html&ab_channel=JodyWatleyVEVO
Yes, she did. Except the “Uh hoh” is from Jody Watley - Dont you want me” But Dawn Mitchell (the woman in the video) actually did sing the verses! Cheers.
Wow i'm looking for this song since 30 years ! Thanks !
I was 20 when this song came out. I had the best time of my life in the 80s-90s. These songs are still 🔝
I think I first heard this song on Beverly Hills 90210 in the first season
I love turning my friends who weren't down in the club days to this song.

Me too! Parris Island, 1990
To this day I remember exactly where I was when I heard this song for the first time. What I'd give to go back to those days.
Me to
I remember hearing it at the back of my dads car when I was a kid I must of been 5
No internet, no mobiles, no reason to stay in the house as a kid - headed to the local ice-rink to meet the girls and skate to this - great days
From Brescia to Beverly Hills, 90210 by Gianfranco Bortolotti, Pieradis Rossini, Diego Leoni.

What a club classic. ❤
The 90's had such a 70's vibe.
ehhh..only the 90's dance music did..it was kind of the second coming of disco, in some ways.
Maybe but i think more better. Because 90s was just so kool the music and dancing.
Any decade better than now.
AKA house music, which is a refined version of disco.
