WTSP-TV's Sunset 10 logo for the then ABC St. Petersburg-Tampa Affiliate (Now CBS Affiliate), was then similar to the one used by its then sister station and CBS Affiliate KTSP-TV Channel 10 in Phoenix (Now KSAZ-TV Fox 10) which were a wholly owned subsidiary of Gulf Broadcasting Company. And this WTSP-TV sign-off uses an audio only "The Star-Spangled Banner" instrumental with still images from an "America the Beautiful" film, at the conclusion of its broadcast activities. Thanks for the upload.
And we found another station that used the Seed from the Sower sermonette. Other stations that used this include WAFF-TV, WEJC-TV (now WCWG), and WSET-TV.
@@marvincohen9290 WTSP has had Wheel on and off a few times. They lost Wheel to WFLA in Fall 1987 to pair it with Jeopardy (which WFLA had from the beginning). Then WTSP regained Wheel in Fall 1989. Then WTSP lost Wheel again in 2008 to WFTS but when WFTS’ owner Scripps decided to create their own prime access shows in 2012, WTSP got Wheel back for a 4th time.
And now you’re up to date; I’m Roger P. Schulman.

Add KYFC-TV in the mid 90s - now KPXE. I remember rolling these myself as a board op.
@@TimGodsGala, add WKBN-TV from the late 1970s until 1994.

Thank you for posting this!!
I believe the SSB music is from the Navy "Homecoming" video, but just has a different film overlaid.

Does anyone who the voiceover is on the "Pastor's Study" intro and outro? He was a holdover from the WLCY-TV days. A WLCY radio jock possible?
I believe that was Thom Allen - he did the intros for Action News on WTSP.
@@EdwardRingwald it was I'Ded as John Lander of WLCY radio.

I'm going to guess that you are an Aries.
WTSP is now owned by Tegna.
