- What's cracking gamers, thanks for checking out this video! Today, I dove into Factorio and was reminded that although I consider myself a gaming UA-camr, I know NOTHING about games.
Really looking forward to continue this playthrough and can't wait to show you more! If you wanna see more, make sure to like, comment, and subscribe!
Hey y’all! Let me just start by thanking all of you for your support! I’ve never had a video break 650 views, much less 1,000! This has truly been an incredible feeling, and it’s almost overwhelming. I’ll be trying to get to every comment, but please be patient as I may take a little while due to it being Father’s Day while I spend time with my family. I’ll be continuing this series as much as I can, but Alex has taken a pretty hefty vacation, so I’ve got one more recording session with him I can try to stretch until he comes back, but let me know if you’d like to see solo playthroughs, playthroughs with other guests on the channel, or jumping into other games like Satisfactory while we wait on him to get back! Again, thank you so much for the support and awesome comments. Can’t wait to make more videos for y’all soon!
This terminally online factorio veteran do be making the least optimised early game setups I've seen
Alex has a very specific way of doing things that I rarely question LMAO
Love it, awaiting the next episode !
a collection of things from watching video :)
how many hours does the veteran have?
try pressing f on an item on the ground. also try making a deconstruction planner with the filter for items on the ground.
try pressing 'c' on a building.
14:00 Geneva convention? more like Geneva suggestion.
i love the term violenced.
i love chess!
recommendation, make walls, use pipes or furnaces if needed, but walls will help with most issues regarding biters.
you can turn off research queue in setting when making a world, under advanced.
map view is so pretty.
20:20 fair enough, makes sense.
first time watching you, excited to see more factorio.
true, i hope barlex sees this comment
Hey, thanks for your awesome comment! I’ll answer what I can and text Alex about the things he can better answer:
Not sure how many hours, but it’s enough for him to do the first 5-6 hours of a playthrough in his sleep.
I learned this and it changed everything.
I will definitely make this. This could be big.
I will definitely try pressing C and report back.
Yeah those guys were just suggesting things it was a long time ago anyways we don’t gotta worry about Geneva that’s made by European goobers anyways.
Alex’s terms are so funny dude, violenced only scratches the surface lmao.
Chess is very big among the friends of this channel.
I made a small stone brick refinery to make walls because biters are genuinely the worst.
I’m definitely going to be turning that off in subsequent playthroughs, thanks for the heads up!
Map view genuinely ROCKS.
I see a game where you build thinks and use conveyors, I think Roblox tycoon lmaooo
Thank you for checking out the channel, your support and comment mean the world!!! I have one more recording session that I’ll have at least one or try and stretch to two vids on the channel, and I’ll have more when Alex returns from his extended vacation. Can’t wait to make more videos for you!
@@barlexlive 👍
that smelting setup gives me itches to absolutly rebuild it...
It’s great for a seamless upgrade to steel furnaces
2 bros chillin, makes a vibe. also iirc you only need about 1 gear assembler for every 10 red science assemblers.
Thank you for the support! I’ll definitely keep this in mind the more I build, I definitely have a MASSIVE gear backlog lmao
cool video, keep it up
Cool vid
W video. Roblox thingy but you have to think
I’m shocked how accurate this is the more I think about it. Very big Roblox tycoon guy, so when I saw conveyor belts I was sold.
Great video, very good fun to watch but also....
this veteran guy hurts me with his setups for stuff, why are the boilers spaced apart???????? and why did he start with 20 boilers, just make one then expand when needed
and that furnace stack hurts, WHY ARE THE FURNACES SPACE
something you may enjoy, use c to shoot at whatever you want, including players
please watch some other videos from other youtubers so you can improve ur designs
otherwise, as i said before great video
Hey, thanks for the comment! I’ll try and have Alex respond about his specific strategy, but here’s what I can respond to:
Not sure about the boilers, have no idea what his future plans are for that, but we like to build all we’ll need as soon as possible to worry about as little logistics as possible.
The furnaces are spaced because the steel furnaces are larger than your regular ones, so we built the furnaces spaced.
I will be using C to shoot at Alex next time we play lmaoooo
After how much fun I had recording the first two episodes I’ll definitely be looking more into how I can better build or optimize the game.
Thanks for your support, and thanks again for your comment!
@@barlexlive i would like to suggest completing one or two runs to develop your own style before seeing how the 'pros' do it. though there is also soooooooo much good factorio content to watch if you want
Very true @@AqueousOrca3148
