  • Hi Guys,
    So as i mentioned in the video I was approached by Victure to review these cameras and my brief was to be honest and open which is already a good sign when a company tells you that as it shows they are confident in their product!
    the review of this HC100 is totally honest and the only payment for these reviews is the cameras so i am not being paid to give a favourable review.
    This Video is for the Mini camera in the range the Victure HC100 which can be found on the link below…

    One can not go bad, with HC-100. Got several different ones but HC-100 holds its prime place.BTW, lovely review. Cheers J.

    Thank you got this helpful review! I couldn't quite understand which micro card you were using, would appreciate hearing which it was.

      Hi yes sorry, the cards i use are Samsung EVOs here is a link amzn.to/2NHXgaq
      They are the best cards for cameras and tech that have a great read and write speed and the only card i use now after others have let me down not being able to keep up. hope that helps.

    Hi. Thanks for all these reviews. Just picked up an HC100. Pretty happy so far. The one thing I can't work out: What is the native resolution of the camera? In pics it looks like the 16MP setting is just upscaled, but from 5 or 8MP? Also, does anyone know if the 1080 video is just upscaled from 720? If so, I may as well record at 720 and have 30 instead of 24 fps. Cheers

      Alex Ford I would definitely play with the settings as I am not totally familiar with it in that sense and I go for 720 myself anyway due to the fact it gives better night shots, as for upscaling that might be a question for Victure themselves as again the pics I get look ok and can’t see a huge difference in the MP when I select 8 or 16.

      Random_ Matt Thanks for answering. Might email Victure. I did a basic test and agree that there was not much difference between 8 and 16 MP shots. There is a frame rate difference in the video, but will have to test that more fully. Thanks once again for your review and help.

    I use External Power Supply 6V - 1 Amp UK plug but the makers suggest 1.5/2 Amps type plug, does it really matter?

      I also use a 1amp supply so no it doesn’t matter and will do just fine.

    External power plug says 6v. Is it OK to power with 9v or 12v like in the review?

      Ray Williamson I have used 9v with it but never tried 12v but yes you can use an external power source all the time.

    I’ve just bought this for my dad for his birthday so he can track his hedgehogs at night... do you have to have an SD card for it to work? I didn’t buy one! Thanks

      Claire Durrant hi, yes you need to use an SD card in the camera for it to record the footage onto. You can get them from amazon or most supermarkets.

    Does it have a gasket? I don't see that good in this clip. If it doesen't, that's kinda dissapointing. Maybe that's why it takes water inside..

      @RandomMattparanormal  5 років тому

      Yes the HC100 does and is fully water tight the only one i ever had issue with was the old version of the HC400 they have a newer HC400 that is much better but as for this HC100 being a new camera it has no issues with water ingress
